Those clamoring for more of Target's high-end partnerships can put another burgeoning label on their Target wish lists. The mass-retailer has tapped accessories company Gryson to collaborate on its highly successful series, joining the ranks of Devi Kroell, Hollywould, Dominique Cohen, Rafé, and, most recently, Loeffler Randall. The collection of accessories, which will launch in 2008, will be previewed to long-lead press on December 12 at Target's Manhattan studios.

i lve gryson bags, but the reason i love it is because the leather...
not sure if it's produced cheaply

the reason i won't buy bags from target or zara etc is because of the material.

this will be out at the end of march/april.

loeffler randall for target ends march 23rd or so.

i think the shapes of the gryson bags are superior. im hoping their will be decent shapes for the target line. for me shape is key.

Wow, this is great news. I had a Gryson Skye in Smoke and I love Joy Gryson's designs. I wonder how they'll fit it w/in a Target budget though? Though I would love them to, I'm guessing they won't be doing any designs that resemble the Skye bag's distinctive shape- Gryson has already done a version of that bag in nylon and it still cost like $500 for goodness sakes.

there are pics of two new bags in the new issue of harpers bazaar.
two of the bags (one white and one navy) had a slight weave to them.

This is exciting, I really liked some of the Loeffler Randall for Target bags (the small clutch with the flower was cute).

I don't think it looks half bad, the white bag is especially nice but I guess it all boils down to the material.
