Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows *Warning - Thread WILL Contain Spoilers*

I wish Hufflepuff did get more recognition in the books. To me, that would be the ideal house.

My only real problem with Harry and Ginny is the fact that, while she insists it is not so, she really does have everyone falling in love with everyone else. Lupin/Tonks, Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione. Did ANYONE marry someone other than a schoolmate from Hogwarts (other than Luna and possibly Draco)? That juse dosen't happen in real life.

Hufflepuff rarely gets any play in the books...but it sounds like a cool house...but I'd prefer Slytherin because the black arts would be fun...LOL

No offense to anyone who likes the house, but I think HufflePuff is the worst house. It's for all those 'loyal' and 'friendly' people.

For me the order would be: Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff.

The Ravenclaw common room seems the best to me.

That's what irked me so much. As much as I like to believe that there actually is a Hogwarts out there, the epilogue ruined that for me. It made me loose whatever speck of innocence I still have...

I honestly don't mind that.

To me, it's different in a novel -- whats the point of them marrying random people that we haven't been introduced to, when there are characters that have been in the book before and that we already know?

(Sorry, I don't think that makes much sense.:ninja:)

^ That's one many people have said, but lets be real- we are all smart enough to accept Harry marrying a beautiful, intelligent and witty witch we haven't met yet

Slytherin for life!!

At Harry Potter club at school (yes, I am a proud member), during the sorting ceremony my friends and I were all laughing at the idea of anyone wanting to be a Hufflepuff when some varsity cheerleaders turned around and abruptly informed us that they wanted to be Hufflepuffs. I was purely puzzled. I mean really, what do they do beside be all... perky and stuff.

I see what you mean but Hogwarts etc is the foundation or most British Wizards lives- how else would they meet people? It did seem a little too neat which was annoying but it would translate into real life, if you were friends with a person for so long, theres always a high chance it turns into a relationship. I think Tonks/Lupin made a wonderful couple same with Hermione & Ron but Ginny & Harry was too neat, like J.K wanted to make Harry part of the Weasley family- come to think of it, Ginny was pretty useless all of a sudden Harry notices how perfect she is, with the 'monster' inside him urging him to persue her? Silly!

I always thought that the monster was JKR's way of conveying something that wouldn't be entirely appropriate for the younger readers.:brows:

And I'd just rather see them all be in relationships with each other than with someone who is merely introduced during the last book or epilogue.

If people are going on about how poorly Ginny was developed, think of how a beautiful, intelligent, and witty witch would be handled in that short of time.

Well, then, the problem could have been remedied easily.

NO FLIPPIN' EPILOGUE AT ALL!!!!!

That would have been the best way to end it. Everyone would have been much happier to choose their own adventure when it came to Harry's life.

I love how most of us would rather be Slytherin...being bad is more appealing. LMAO

I honestly thought that Remus and Sirius might have been together in the past...a little disappointed JKR didn't go that way.

Because this way, fans don't need to battle over theories. Have to been to harry potter boards recently? It's a warzone there.

I'm not smart so out goes Ravenclaw, I always stick up for the little guy so out goes Slytherin but I'm not that brave either so out goes Gryffindor.

Hufflepuff is the winner. To bad I don't suit yellow or gold.

I think there a game like this on harrypotter.com (the WB site).

^ Yay Hufflepuff. :woot:

Whenever I take those quizzes, I always get Gryffindor, but I think they are wayyy too black and white. I think I'd be more of a subtle Slytherin.

I think I'd be in Ravenclaw or Slytherin, because intelligence and darkness are so much more appealing than stupid courage and loyalty... :innocent:

Hufflepuff just seems like the place they put you if you don't have anything special about you. Gryffindors are brave, Slytherins are dark, Ravenclaws are smart. Hufflepuffs are just...there.

That thing you posted Khaotic Karma reminded me of when I used to think that maybe Harry Potter etc was real and J.K had changed bits about and based it on actual facts- it's seems to perfect to be entirely fabricated!

Also, I HATE the idea of Sirius/Remus or Sirius being homosexual at all! Thats one ship I will never contemplate or get on board with
