Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows *Warning - Thread WILL Contain Spoilers*

I can't stand Ginny...
I wish Harry and Luna stayed together, thats a much better match. :innocent:

^ Me too. Luna was the only one who understood Harry when no one else did. Also, she's nowhere as boring and predictable as Ginny, she always made me laugh.

I will never understand Harry/Luna.

I love them as friends, but that doesn't change the fact that he thinks she's weird and doesn't support her believes. I like that she married someone who is probably more like her.

Plus, I have no problem with Ginny. I've said before that she's my favorite character -- I don't know why, but I don't see anything unlikable in her.

Well, I don't like Ginny because she seems a lot like a gold-digging scallywag feeding off of her husband and has a bad taste in baby names. I promise I'll stop....sooner or later.:innocent::p

I actually think Harry probably named them...:innocent::lol:

I really wish Luna had been written in sooner, after Sirius she was probably my faveourite character. She is such an insightful character IMO, but at the same time shes so funny and sweet and unpretencious. She would make an amazing mom (plus she would stop Harry giving his kids such god aful names - even though I'm sure she'd have a couple of weird but wonderful ones up her sleeve!!)

Honestly I think Luna's name would be insane (in a good way, but not Harry's taste, I think).

To me, Luna either needs:

a) someone who is completely like her -- wacky with the same type of beliefs as her

b) someone completely opposite -- who can bring her down to earth, but still accepts her quirks (Harry doesn't, IMO. He makes fun of her on more than one occasion.)

^I can see what you mean, but I think all the chemistry between Luna and Harry in the 5th film (was that just me, or was anyone else just waiting for them to get together, despite the fact it would have completely deivated from the plot!) has just encouraged the Harry/Luna shipper side of me

That's actually part of the reason why the films annoy me so much.

They seem so romance-driven -- there were so many Harry/Hermione moments, and Ron/Hermione moments, and now Harry/Luna...I wish that they focused more on Harry/Ginny. (The two scenes in OotP, Lucky You and Chocolate in the Library, were cut out.)

I know the Harry/Herionie moments just make me cringe, like Harry said they love each other as siblings, even them implying anything else is too weird for words for me.

And the movies were very heavy on the Harry/Hermione. (I don't know if it was just Dan/Emma or what, but you could clearly see both H/Hr and Ron/Hermione in the movies.)

I like it when they just stick to the books. ;)

Yeah...the movies tend to gravitate toward a possible relationship with Harry/Hermione...people who don't read the books may be confused by movie seven when Ron and Hermione are full on a couple...LOL

It's possible dan and emma can't help that they have better chemistry...

Ginny went on to be an international Quidditch player so she wouldn't be short of a gallon or two.

Everyones a gold-digger these day.

I actually like the idea of Harry and Ginny together...and it's sweet that he somehow ended up in the Weasley family...

I tihnk Luna's the type of person that's good to have as a friend.

Trying to live with her 24/7 and raising a family might be somewhat of a problem.

The only prob. with Harry and Ginny is, like I've said before, the author didn't put much time and effort into developing their relationship. She abruptly smashed them together.

But there are people like me that have seen hints at H/G since book 1 or book 2.

I agree about Luna; our personalities would just clash so much (like Hermione).

I too saw the Harry and Ginny connection from the first books. From the moment Ginny's apperance was described so much like Harry's mother Lily, I know that was where JK was going.

P.S. I loved the Snap/Lilly connection at the end. Don't know why is just made me very sentimental.

One of my favorite scenes from the 1st book is when Harry watches Ginny chase the train, half laughing, half crying.

Favorite line from the book...made me laugh out loud:
"She is as nutty as squirl poo." Haha I love it.

I remember they had a cover for Teen Vogue some time ago and though the original picture was of the trio, the cover only showed Dan and Emma. Rupert looked kind of isolated in that photo anyway, while Emma was leaning to Dan's shoulder or something like that. It's a shame everything's so focused on the two of them.
