I really wish that people don't follow these trends blindly because many many people just simply cannot pull these off without looking like they blasted from the 80's. They can look good on certain people, but not on many others! Heck, even Mischa Barton couldn't pull off those high-waisted shorts she wore a couple months ago!

i like the color of the ginger , the thrift store versions are pretty chloe looking or vice versa , but i think the thrift ones would look better if they flared from the mid thigh rather than the knee , which this looks like it does.

is the denim of the thrift/chloe jean thick or light weight? it looks pretty stiff denim from the picture , but it gives a very nice front ...

Thanks guys! I wouldn't normally wear my shirt like that, maybe a little lower.. but yeah I like that look. Disco, the vintage jeans are pretty thick and there's also vertical seams in the back so they're stiff & supportive!

I tried these, but they weren't flattering because I don't have much of a waist. I think they would work really well for someone with a defined waist. They're gorgeous in person.

^^ acne jeans are like really high waisted lke 12-13 inch , rise , i find the straight leg boring , it takes on that mom jean quality than , to make it hip and sexy , you have to wear it super skinny , wide leg or flare IMO

i think alot of the extremely high waisted looks especialy with cheap tailoring are too tarty and not flattering, i have started wearing my pants and skirts, hell even my panties higher, but i think it would be considered more of a "natural" waist

same. i started buying tops that arent' soo long,a dn just focus on showing off the natural waist. i heard that was a mainstay of Emilio Pucci design--repsecting the silhouette of a woman's natural waist. As it portrays youth, energy, and femininity

yeah i like the natural waist now because i now prefer to tuck my shirt in and look "neater" plus i feel my posture is better and dont have that feeling like my bottoms are slipping off
