High Waisted Skirts

The first one is from nordstrom.com (that's the source of the photo) and is by Nanette Lepore - and it's on sale.

The second one (which I'm kind of digging, although I don't think it would work on me) is from revolveclothing.com (again, source of photo) and is by Catherine Malandrino.

I was thinking of purchasing it, but i was a little skeptic of the quality.

How is it for you? Does the skirt hold up well even with the raw hemline?

I like mini-length or above knee length, either a-line or flowy, with skinny belt or bow tie!

I just bought two high-waisted skirts...one is a high-waisted pencil skirt from Kensie and the other is a high waisted mini from Arden B. Not sure how to wear them casually during the winter/if i can pull them off.

Yeah I was worried about the hemline but to be honest its not that bad. Its not like material cut wih scissors and bits hanging off or anything.

i didn't even realize this was a trend. been wearing high waisted skirts since the popularity of high waisted jeans.
