eeek! love the pumps! he's always got the best shoes. it's much more accessible than the spring collection. that said, i gotta admitt i was a fan of the plasticky cut out dresses and the overt biological spin on plants and sex organs. despite his reputation as a conceptual designer, i think his evolution makes a lot of sense. i think he might be one of the more rational designers out there. btw. this collection screams of autumn...down to the dead leaf coloring on those flimsy dresses.

"repose" as the theme here
inspired by English traditional furniture

isnt he always very good?

thanks runner you are the best!!!!!!!

Lovely pieces! furniture.....I never would have seen that if it wasn't told because these clothes actually have a bit of an ecclesiastical feel about them. The silhouettes and the draping. But nevertheless, really gorgeous!

I still don't understand why he couldn't also make good menswear like these. What about transplanting some of the marvellous collar and lapel details onto a jacket/coat with masculine silouette and cutting? I think that may works very well.

Thank you runner! The construction of those collars is amazing.
Actually, the construction of everything looks amazing. I would love some culottes like those.

It does look quite dressed up--I can imagine someone wearing this to "the office."
