shopaholic- I bought my Hermes Birkin in a "speakeasy" style store in Chinatown NYC about 10 years ago...it was kept thru a door up some stairs and under the counter It's a very nice bag, But honestly I NEVER use it
Alkistis- The Rubisse step fits perfectly over my shoulder and carries all the contents from my work very nicely.
Crystal + Coco- Thinner leather is the bomb...my thickest leathers are my anthras 07/09 works and my amethyst wk...so 3 thickies out of 20 isn't bad And even tho there thick, there not veiny or distressed or marbelled, so I am ok with them just being thicker..they will get thinner with age!

If anyone is interested in a rubisse city there is one on ioffer that the seller says is a NBF! I know how so many of us love but missed out on rubisse...just a heads up..It's not mine..I'm not trying to sell it...just passing on the info.

bagalicious: My thicker leather bags are Maldives City w/GSH, Anthracite City w/GSH (last batch). I don't have too much thicker leather as my bags are mostly pre-owned bags I was able to purchase from other members or T&D bags when the leather was smooshier. I don't mind the thicker leather at all but if you carry mostly day bags as I do you would prefer the thinner leather for the bag to drape properly. In the Spring hopefully I will be able to take a picture of my bags from T&D and post them here.

Chesea2901- I love my betty, I use it for the gym, perfect, all those pockets, and its a great rep. I have only used the Bay twice, but maybe this spring/summer. I bought my Kelly on Ebay about 10 years ago, I have used it like 5 times, but when i do i feel like the shizzle!

I used my gorgeous new to me rubisse yesterday evening for dinner, and it feels GREAT! It defintley feels a little bigger than a city to me, but not as roomy as a work, so a perfect size for me.

I have been wanting a brief for a while, in fact I had one on order in Officier but they never made them favoring the Midday. No offense to the Midday owners out there but I prefer the Brief.

coco - please let us know what t&d say regarding the pattern. i believe they took a number of orders for marine/officier with GGH briefs, as i remember many girls on this thread saying they placed an order. i am curious to hear what they say. i would also love a brief with RH and a black with GGH. even though they are the same bag, same color, the HW makes them two totally different styles, imho. i also prefer the brief...i do not think t&d's mid-day looks dead-on to the auth. the top of the bag looks a lot less rigid/structured in photos. ultimately, the auth mid-day is a structured bag made of soft leather, whereas t&d's mid-day is a pliable bag made of soft leather.

The boys gave me that same story 2 years ago when I asked about ordering a brief... that they didn't have the pattern anymore and woudn't be making it again. But I know that they made anthracite gh briefs last year. Weird.

I'm about to place my first order with jacky (could find his details by myself with the few informations given in this thread, hehe, so i don't have to get on nobodys nerves with pm requests ) but I'm a litlle bit concerned about ordering 5 items at once, as I'm located in Europe ... would it be better to order only one or two things at once? Don't wanna have my bags seized by customs

I was also wondering wheter anyone has ever purchased one of those Hermes bracelets from Jacky? I'm eyeing the ones with the studs, think they are pretty cute!

i took a black brief ggh in january! it was the last one remaining but they do have the pattern if they made it and the anthra ones....
i know for sure then, that they didn't make the brief in officier....
