Thanks Chelsea!! I will check out those sites u recommended.. I agree on the point about willing to spend for a really high quality rep... I know my friend blew about $800 for her rep and it's really pretty close..

I think that is the way to go (unfortunately for the wallet). I think your friend made a wise choice to spend the money, though, because the 'super reps' look so good and they seem to get the details and lining correct. If you decide to get one, please show us here!!

I feel that the real one.... (see pic below)... is STRAIGHT across on the end (on the end of flap). But the t&D ones are rounded on the corners...

now i conditioned it a lot and it's more and more better now!

platinum i don't have an auth to compare but the bag is very nice and i ordered another one in outremer
if you want to know if it's structured, well, i say no...but i think that if you put some stuff inside and wear it, nobody would even notice the eventual difference

Is that how your EB EC is? less shape? How does yours compare to the real one?

Oh yea... definitely not tight.

I think i'll pass on getting a envelope clutch from t&D.

I wanted a flat clutch in outremer from them.... but they can't just make one. =( *very sad face*

my auth EC looked more structured when new, but it became softer and slouchier with use (similar to pic of sill's EC posted). i think T&D did a great job on the EC.

Jacky's 1112 is VERY good and so is his Vintage XL. Many say that his caviar leather is closer to auth so that would probably be your safest bet. I have a lambskin bag from him and can tell you that it's gorgeous and looks very much like the authentics I've seen at the boutique. BUT, I'm no expert and if you're really after the safest, most passable bag, go for caviar! And black is always the safest color choice as well.

Platinum serenity-My girlfriend who has an authentic FC + EC say's this:
"My auth envelope clutch thats well used looks just like that NBF EB 1 posted. Soft and slouchy. IMO NBF did FANTASTIC job on both Flat and Envelope clutches GSH. And You know how picky I am"
So along with chicadee who also has an authentic I would say the clutches are spot on!

And oh yeah my sandstone and my day have arrived!!!! going to open the box now!!!!
