I've never seen one in real life. I've seen a picture of it online. Everytime I compare T&D's bag to the EC real ones online... they never seem structured to me.

I have 1 t&D bag and ordered some more. I've been carrying the black GGH city one I have like it's the real deal....
But I didn't know if I was only fooling myself... if it REALLY stands out like a fake to everyone else.

I'm glad to see that it's very VERY close to the real one.
I guess I'll carry it on like I've been... and flaunt it like it's real! =)

When did you get your black GGH city? post a picture of it, I'm sure it looks great.
Also, when you see pictures on line a lot of the times there is a stylist who pads/stuffs the bag to make it look picture perfect. Just like a model on a photo shoot! But obviously the older and more use any bag gets the softer and slouchier it becomes, which is also the appeal of the bbag.
Most of us here have many T&D bags, you are in good company.

Hey bagalicious... You know what.. I also have a sandstone GGH city too... but I've never worn it... 'cause I want to put some stain resistant on it before I take it out.

Anywho..... The black GGH city has the incorrect/wrong square bales. I got the Black GGH... when they FIRST did the GGH batch... I think it was 2008? This one had the square bales. So I asked T&D for an updated one that they have with rounded bales for $15. I usually carry my bag without the strap/square bales... so I can carry it off as a "authentic" and "real".. hehe =)

is anyone else ordering Catty's yellow alexa? I'm scared to take the plunge. Need a little encouragement. Is it a frankenbag? The measurements are about an inch off in width to Jacky's but it might just be a difference in how they measured.

Platnium serenity- next time you order a bag from T&D ask them if they can send you a set of the newer bales and O rings for your GGH city, This way you can kick it up a notch.
You have a sandstone as well...a minite a go you only had 1 T&D...what else you got it that closet of yours?

Crystal- her o rings were changed..she looks a bit thinner now (you know how those super models are) Tomorrow Giselle gets her HW gussied up...it's going to make a big difference as the GGH looks quite light and monochromatic on the sandstone.....I'll post a before and after of course.

1%world-I'm not personally taking the Alexa plunge in any color, I have never seen any other alexa IRL other than the oak.
Coco I believe said that catty's measurements were off, It looks nice in that picture, But I persoanlly am not familiar with the details sorry i couldn't be more help

That said, now I'm ISO any style with RH or GGH in rouille or mandarin. Her rep lambskin was veiny (oooh lala, LOVE those veiny bals) and was TDF.

If anyone runs across these, please holler.

Sandstone is going to look awesome with some darker HW!
You don't realize how light the GGH is until you see it up against the real deal. But at least it they can be enhanced now. The GGH on all my bags have now been enhanced. I much prefer them this way.

I was referring to the jumbo lambskin black flap from Catty that everyone thought was dead on to the authentic a few pages back.

I have a black Maxi from Jacky and I don't know if it's the size or shape of the flap, but it looks best when I hold it in my hand by the chain because whenever I wear it on my shoulder it gets really flat and looks really fake.

That's why I've switched to Balenciaga from Chanel, because it's 99.9% perfect in my opinion and I can wear it anywhere and be confident with my bbags but just like sanitizedfashion, I'm on the hunt for the best Chanel rep.

1%world, I think it's very cute. I would've probably ordered one for myself if I didn't have a disinclination for bright colored handbags (I really should try something new one of these days) and if it came in the regular size, which I think Coco said Mulberry does have a regular sized yellow, but no oversized (Don't quote me on that ). Oh well, I think if you really like it then you should take the plunge, especially if the leather's nice. I like the regular sized animal-print a lot.

Psst. Were you and MissDaisyChain still working on getting the Brady clutch/coco made? I think that bag is absolutely spectacular , but it would take some serious creative consideration given the leather, stitching, and handles on behalf of the replicator. Sounds more like a job for Jacky as the grey coco from Catty was not exactly a smashing hit . In her defense, the authentic leather and hardware are really unique and hard to find/recreate successfully.

@everyone, does anyone have any info on Catty's YSL Easy? I think the leather of the authentic is amazing and imho very similar to the Alexander Wang Coco's which I love. I don't think its been discussed on previous threads, but if anyone knows, feel free to give me a heads up. TIA!

Bagalicious thanks I was also looking at fangfang's blk with GGH it looks like its a richer gold like yours is now I have already ordered from her in the past so I know her quality is excellent the only problem is that the leather smell so much, I just don't know if her other bbags would come with the same scent

But.... what's wrong with the round O-ring? Is it just a tad bit smaller and less thicker than the current O-ring? By the way, how do you remove and re-put that on the bag?

Also... for the square bales, I don't know how to undo the bales without removing the stitching. Which means that I have to restitch the strap after I undo the square bales. How do you do it?
I just asked T&D for an extra strap with the new round bale. It's only $15.
But curious... how do you re-do the bales?


Are the rivets and zippers the same size as the real bag?

I take all my bags to a cobbler that i trust and he replaces the O rings for me.
You just have to remove the rivet from the back of the handle, and then you can swap out the O ring, and then glue and hammer the rivet back into the GH on the other side (Candy has a how to and an explantaion on the picture thread)
I have never replaced O rings or bales, But again, A cobbler can do it. easy, peasy
All T&D bags now have the correct size O rings and new bales, it's older bags that may need a little DIY (IF you want to)

Shopholic- That's actally a sapphire T&D GGH Wk (the comparision pic of the GGH before and after me enhancing) But glad you like it

BBS- Not a light green or a yellow lover myself...But I can see why someone would be.

katinboots..I feel your pain! I was like you twice this year, once with Amethyst and once with Gray...But I guarantee someone will sell there Elecrtic Blue bag on ioffer at some point, it will happen, not sure when, but it will...just have to be patient.

Hey ladies- There has been a "Red Rouge" rh city on ioffer for like a month, I am suprised that the bag didn't sell the 1st day it was listed...Is it really a NBF? I am unsure...anyone want to have a look and give there opinion. TIA
