^I completely agree! why take it to a shoe repairer for something as trivial as a broken zipper, and it seems to have been happening repeatedly. it's not that hard to check that a bag has a zipper that works before sending it out. it's a BASIC functionality of the bag.. you need a zipper.

It's different to hardware falling out, that can happen because of the quality of the bag, but a zipper should work.. especially when you're paying over $200 for a bag. T&D are the most expensive, and the best quality- the qc should be there.. it's just that basic. what's next getting a bag without a handle? but still being happy we got an 'oh so yummy' leather bag and skipping to the shoe repairer to fix it!

This just doesn't fly with the regulars that have been buying T&D bag for a few years.

it's also not that easy to get things repaired. When my day ripped because the stitching was so loose i had to take it to a few places until i found one that had the right colour thread and was willing to match the style of the stitching. And i live in a huge city.


even when stuff rips, breaks and bits fall out from other sellers, we are NOT paying no where near the prices we pay with NBF.

black pt ggh

Black part time in giant gold hardware is my current obsession--has anyone else been wanting one? If so, pm me and let T&D know!

A lot of girls on tpf are looking for this bag as well, since giant gold hardware is going to be discontinued soon, if you search for "black part time" there are many threads started by girls desperately combing Barney's and Neiman's stock for this exact bag.

jacky will usually only do a bag if he can buy one...
i asked him a while back about doing the chanel olsen tote (out in 2002), but he said no...

i got this magenta WE a while back, love it and used it weeks straight...still using it right now and dont plan to switch bag until i get my 08yellow GSH city
anyways, here are some pics of the bag when i first got it, with all the GLoss. For those who wanted a magenta from them but not sure what year it is, let me tell you, it doesnt belong to any shades of real BALENCIAGA- it is too dark for 05-07 or 08.
i had all magentas from NBF, the LE 07 or the 05 batch, and this is completely darker and different. i included here pic of the new bag + the tassel from earlier batch, the brightest 05 from NBF i used to have.
and pictures of the bag now, much broken in, with lots and lots of condition (apple product)- almost everyday for 2 weeks-
as you can tell, the color is faded a little bit - but i LOVE it, love it a lot-
about the size, the real one is about 20-21" x 15 x 8, but mine is almost 20" x 15" x 6.5
little off, but i dont really care. but it will be much better if they fix the size, cux i plan to buy more WE in the future.


bonus: friend's ruby PT...the handles are WAY too short

ok here's the pics of my new baby..overall i'm in love with it, though i'm still wondering why nobody does the little pointy triangle in pocket correctly..i also just noticed from the picture that the green LV letter in the right pocket is not straight (just a little bit), but when i looked at the bag directly, it's barely noticable so i'm happy..at least for now i can forget about the Chanel vintage jumbo...

lovepink: the condition will take away the shine, but you can buy the rain/water resistant and spray over the bag, to make it shine again. and it will soften the bag alot- lol

nicky: My post was merely an attempt to be helpful to PinUpGirl. Obviously it is HER decision weather she wants to return the bag or have it repaired. It is just cracking me up right now that every post I make gets argued with!!! If I say the sky is blue....oh no I'm sure to see a post that sky is indeed green, purple or bright red. But not blue. LMAO!!!!

I have had HARDWARE that is necessary to the functionality of the bag break. My (Jacky) Mahina's pushlock fell off the second day I used it and I got a Mahina from Catty with a piece of hardware missing. Why take it to a shoe repair?? because they'll fix it fast and its cheap!! By all means, feel free to ship your bags back to China demanding a refund. I don't mind!! But you're wrong if you think its terribly hard or difficult to fix something as simple as a ZIPPER!! lol.

T&D's bags are more expensive because they have superior leather. Hardware breaks off auth bags all the time (tpf is proof). Paying more isn't a guarantee of everlasting hardware. Of course its annoying and unfair that a bag arrives broken. QC SHOULD have caught it before sending it out, however I've had bags from all sellers that have issues. Its just part of the replica game. I thought we all knew this by now.....

yep, it's from TD too. i remember Shimmer and some others got PTs from them and already complained about the handles, thought they fixed it...
so if anyone planning on ordering one, make sure you ask them to fix it, unless you dont mind a shorted handles.
the handles are very short, shorter city's handles. as i used to carry the city on shoulder, but i could hardly put this PT on.
HTH, as the black PT GGH is gorgeous, i dont want the handles disappoint anyone.
