I think for the gold, Jacky's Beasce was better, but for black they were similar. I saw Catty's black bubble IRL and it was quite good.

blondmommy: I know what you mean. I've had spit go right on my bag!! lol. I take really good care of my bags and Apple Care protects a lot, but with kiddos, I think its fairly impossible to keep them utterly pristine.

@lucy92--I think it's pretty hard to tell, but if there's some bags of the same color on t&d's ioffer site, they mention whether it's goat or lamb on their description of the bag.
For me, I think lamb can lighten in color when it stretches (like in areas around the base of the handles or shoulder strap of a city) more than goat.

I think the grey besace bag looks stunning, but im abit nervous about buying a replica of it. Just not sure whether the quality of the material will match up to the original. Ill probably opt for the black bubble (safer choice)..
I got a replica of the muse two in blue and it was a awful and tacky. Ive yet to see a good replica of that bag..

Only reason I ask is b/c I bought a bag from them last night and I asked this very question and was told by D "[FONT=Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial] To be honest I don’t know. T does all that stuff[/FONT]"

The bag I purchased was listed as "goatskin", but that could be just a copy/paste of their old descriptions that they've been using forever. Didn't they switch leathers? Or am I confusing them with Balenciaga? LOL

I'm almost sure that all pre '08 bags are goatskin.

And if T knows about "that stuff" (lol, D cracks me up) then T probably writes the ioffer listings.

ok here's the pics of my new baby..overall i'm in love with it, though i'm still wondering why nobody does the little pointy triangle in pocket correctly..i also just noticed from the picture that the green LV letter in the right pocket is not straight (just a little bit), but when i looked at the bag directly, it's barely noticable so i'm happy..at least for now i can forget about the Chanel vintage jumbo...

Cloudyblue where u get this from? I am trying to find a good one, and is the leather SOFT (bend-able easily)? I tried fabaaa b4 only for eugine wallet it was good but I am too afraid of LV big bags, cuz I am afraid their patina leather is too white compare to the original

A lot of girls on tpf are looking for this bag as well, since giant gold hardware is going to be discontinued soon, if you search for "black part time" there are many threads started by girls desperately combing Barney's and Neiman's stock for this exact bag.

@ minxvixen: You know how Balenciaga made all their bags before mid-2007 or early 2008 in goatskin, and then switched to lambskin? T&D also make their bags either from goat or lambskin, but their leather choice does not necessarily match the Balenciaga leather choice in each individual color. For example, the Mogano (dark brown) that they currently have on their ioffer site is made of lambskin. But Balenciaga made Mogano in 2007 with goatskin.

I don't know when T&D started making bags out of both goat and lamb. Does someone else know?

@petit-glow: so can I let T&D know that you for sure want one as long as there is a slit pocket on the mirror?
I'm also asking for the feet on the part time.
