PinUpGirl-few monts ago I received from NBF bag with the same 'hick-up' like your beautiful sandstone GGH work. I did like T&D advised you-cut the leather with the sharp scissors and look perfect now

I had jacky's gale (I sold it b/c there are always like a million bags that I want) but his was good, but I did see pictures of what looked like a medium size gale from catty in the khaki color and it was GORGEOUS. I actually liked the color better than the dark brown, but honestly it looked just as nice as the one I had from jacky. so whoever is cheaper or more practical for you to buy from go with them. Catty has other colors while jacky only has brown and black.

@ the person about the gale: just mail catty and ask whether she has the medium gale, not all the bags are on her site, I've also ordered bags that she didn't have on the site, just ask and she will provide you with a picture, good luck

@ pinupgirl: thanks for the info, I did inform about it in my banc and it is cheaper than WU, depending on what amount you spend (the more you spend, the cheaper it is ), but it is more secure and I like it. Good to know that Jacky accepts it! I'm only a bit worried that if I order 5 items it will be intercepted by customs (they are the hardest in Europe) since Jacky ships through EMS and they have opened every package I've already ordered (from other sellers) but I've only ordered 1 bag each time - should I be worried to order multiple items or not?

I hope your new bag from T&D turns out ok (take the zipper to a shoe fixer, normally they can do wonders! gosh, why don't there exist bag fixers ) I wanted to order the violet giant city with silver hardware or the sahara giant city with golden hardware (if someone has ordered one of these bag, please be so kind to send me a picture of your bag) but I'm a bit worried I will also end up with a flaw on my bag

I don't think T&D are making the sahara color...if they are, I would love one as well. The closest color I think they have to sahara is sandstone, which is quite a bit darker.

bella swan....i think you're right about that. they did natural last year (?) and the sandstone, but i think sahara didn't make the cut.

ah sorry to hear about your situation pinupgirl. I hope your other bag arrives in excellent condition. I definitely would be mad if I received a bag looking like that especially after anticipating so long for it.

Just got my EB day and the color is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I am so so so pleased with the color and the leather looks so much better than the black work I got from them. It feels very pliable and smooshy. However there are some stains on the back that go halfway up the bag. It's much more noticeable in person..

seriously, with the stains...isn't this what nbf said about the turq batch they ended up canning? that there were dots all over the leather? If so, I wish they woulda stuck to their original quality control standards. I would hate to get a stained bag.

The color is gorgeous though and the leather looks stunning. I don't know why they threw out the turq batch for this exact same problem yet still make the other colors with this?

cloudyblue and those interested in the jumbo vintage chanel flap...i found the pics in the pics only thread, and jacky wasn't the vintage flap it was the newer version with the smaller CC's...

baBidoLL congrats!! the color is amazing..I know how you feel for the stains..I was so excited for my first weekender , even if it's not an huge damage I hate that broken zipper..
are you going to send an email to T&D for the stains?

All these avoidable quality control issue from T&D are making me nervous.

PinUpGirl: I am SO sorry your bags have these issues!! Definitely let T&D know!! Someone mentioned taking it to a shoe repair and they're absolutely right. I've taken bags to my local shoe repair guy and he's fantastic! I've had bags from many sellers break, have hardware fall off etc (so far everything from T&D has been perfect though, *knocks on wood while crossing fingers*). It's so much more cost effective to have something fixed rather than send it back (and of course there's no harm in requesting a discount on shipping for your next bag as a compromise). Hope it works out for you!!


Kimair: I know Jacky doesn't have that. Chanel bag, but if enough people want it, he may start stocking it.

yeah i saw the pictures before, littlecoco's lambskin look yummy. Is the difference only in CC's? I love the big CC's though..and Jacky never have the XL one? why do i have a feeling that littlecoco's lambskin jumbo size is a little different with ester's caviar..could it be the light and angle..so i google and found this vintage 'jumbo xl' from ebay..

I feel the same way. When you're paying $200 and up for something, these types of problems are unacceptable. You shouldn't need to have the zipper fixed on a brand new bag. If it was an isolated incident, I wouldn't be as concerned.

agree on you melissa71..to be honest, i dont care whatever the reason they might say, a faulty product is unacceptable. it only takes 1-2 minutes to do QC check..
