iPod Video

i think i'm just going to get the nano, i can't really see myself sitting and watching videos on that tiny screen - its all about the music!!

I still haven't gotten one. I'm thinking about it though. My old iPod has taken a beating. The last couple times I've been to the gym I've accidentally dropped it a couple of times when I've been on the treadmill. Still works though.

I heard the black ones scratch really easily. Anyone know if this is true?

I have a black and I don't think the scratching is that bad. It is most definitely more noticable than on the white but not as bad as I thought it would be. The screen still looks great and the video is really crisp. I use the video more than I thought I would but I agree that it is all about the music. I use it for 90% music and maybe 10% video though watching TV shows is fun when on a long trip. I'm very glad that I bought it though. Can't wait for Vaja to come out with a case for this. I hate carrying around the boring Apple iPod case.

I abslosutely love them. I always have one. Right now I have the mini in ping 6GB-No longer made, I'm selling it and getting the new in black

I got one for Christmas and I love love looooove it ... but I was lusting after being able to watch Lost on my iPod and now of course I find out iTunes in Canada doesn't have TV shows yet

hi i have a question how can i put videos when i am on manual update mode?

sorry for my english:heart:

hey all...any suggestions on how to get ard converting videos to play on the iPod video? heard there are afew programmes avaliable online...but i'm so lost! :(

I have a regular size 15G ipod from spring 2004. It's so outdated but I honestly don't want any of the new ones. Yeah the nano is tiny but mine is small enough. The minis are colorful but mine holds more songs and I ordered a cute fiji blue skin from istore.com so mine is my favorite color. I can't think of any reason why I'd want to carry my iPhoto library with me. I don't carry any photographs with me. And I honestly can't see myself DLing and watching videos. I usually listen to mine while I'm on my way (I walk everywhere) and I'd trip if I was watching a video. Or I use it to jog with. Same problem there. I think it's more of a status symbol than a necessity to have the newest ipods. No one really *needs* an update that often.

I just got the iPod video 30gb in white. I love him but whats wrong with the battery ? I just can listen maybe 6-7 h to music, this sucks. Today i will have a look at the apple store maybe the battery is damaged?

lol I had the same question from iBella the other day when she PMed me. here's what i wrote. all credit to my cousin cos he was the one who taught me.

Hi! you need to download a program called Videora iPod (just google it and go to their site to dl it). Install it (the usual stuff lol). Once you have it open, you'll see 3 thingies on the left hand column (Convert, Setup and About). Click Convert and then click One-click Transcode (i have no idea what the difference is between that and Transcode New Video but that's the way my cousin taught me so yeah) Then if you click Setup (under Convert) you'll find where the converted video will be when it finishes and then add the file to your iTunes Library.

I hope that helps. I'm sorry if it's not really understandable lol. If you don't get it just PM me and I'll try to explain it better :flower:

I just bought one this week and I must say it's pretty damn groovy. It's black so I have to name it something sultry .... :innocent: I wonder

I want to name mine too but I can't get any ideas - it's a black 60GB - anybody has any ideas?
