Im not sure if this is the best place to post this but recently I purchased a etoile isabel marant jacket (online) and its too big!! the sleves are fine but I would have to be heavily pregnant to fit nicely around the torso. Im wondering if anyone has any experience getting things altered and can advise if it would be possible for this? I LOVE the jacket and dont want to send it back. Sorry for such a stupid question, but ive only ever had pants taken up before, this is a whole different ball game! pic from ebay.

Hi Britt, this particular jacket you've got was quite large and boxy. I didn't buy it myself at the time because the size 0 which I normally wear was huge. To be honest I do not suggest you alter the jacket because it will change the shape and become a different jacket altogether. It will also lose re-sell value in case you change your mind and decide to put on ebay later. The best thing is to return it and search for a jacket that fits you perfectly. Isabel does a range of similar Chanel-esque jackets every year. Some to look for are the Vally and Lexy. I hope it helps.
