Thanks for your help Helena, I went to Rue Jacob as I wanted to go to APC too. I got your trousers in black. I really wanted the petroleum but they didn't have my size. Apart from that the only thing I was taken with was a denim shirt dress but I figured I could get that anywhere. I was a bit disappointed altogether. I guess not having a shop here and having to rely on what shops have bought in I was expecting to see loads I hadn't seen but between the stores and the blogs etc it was covered. What kind of tops are you wearing with your trousers? I'm scared I look like Simon Cowell when I tuck stuff in!

Ah, thanks. I haven't had the chance to wear the dress yet as it's soooo cold. When I saw the dress in the hanger I wasn't sure but I loved it once I tried on.

pemblton - I have been wearing the trousers with an IM long sleeve top (not tucked in) and a boucle wool cropped jumper - IM again. With the petrol/grey ones I have only worn them once but I wore them with a simple black vanessa bruno sweater.

Have you seen the Etoile cotton printed trousers (the same print as that top you bought)....if so what do you think of them? I'm going to be in paris in two weeks and I'm looking out for them.....I'm supposed to be getting kitted out for return to work clothes (what a drag) but I suspect I may be diverted.

^well, don't like the shape of my butt in those trousers! Not very flattering imo...

I saw the Etoile printed trousers at the Printemps corner but don't remember seeing them at the Marais store last Friday though they had other items in this print.
I'm actually looking for Dries printed trousers substitute and the Etoile look pretty nice!

hmm thanks Aby - yeh I thought the 'bottom' looked a bit saggy but, given my predilection for drop crotch trousers at the moment I viewed it favourably....

thanks for the tip....we have limited time in Paris so I have to decide which IM store to go to - I was going to go to Rue Charonne (we always stay at Boulevard Voltaire so its close). I wasn't going to go to Printemps - I was going to go to Bon Marche instead....going with my Mum (and my baby girl) and she loves the Bon Marche. We are taking my baby daughter to Angelinas for her first birthday!!!

^i really like the jacket!especially cause been reversible the jeans side looks more daytime and easy, while the lurex side looks more refined and edgy!
