I think mostly, most sites will only take phone orders. Apparently it is a measure taken by the company to prevent knockoffs?
I think all of the ones I can think of are listed in this thread . . . like Mick Margo, Satine boutique (http://www.satineboutique.com/index.php), shop diani, and Creatures of Comfort (http://shop.creaturesofcomfort.us/).
I think at one point Anthropologie may have carried some of the Etoile line online, but I don't think they do anymore. It's hard to really tell, since they don't label the majority of their online items anyhow.

Hm, I would think so too, soft. But this no online sales is pretty new, no? In the last year or so? I assumed it applied to any online e-tailer, regardless of location--my dinky google search didn't turn up anything.
However, I did find the La Redoute Isabel Marant coat on the US site . . . wonder if its worth it, quality-wise . . .

but diani DOES have it online...because they don't have a physical store i think...
so it's not all online sites...
i think the la redoute is probably pretty much like h&m quality...
i have had mixed results with their designer collaboration purchases...
the cacharel was so awful that i never order from them again...

Ah yes, you're right soft, I think I saw the "please call customer service to order" on one of the pieces I looked at, so I just assumed that was the case for everything. Yeah, thorough fact-checker, me.
Also, I just realized that ShopBird carries Etoile in their online shop.

i don't know if you have to call to order cause i can't read japanese...
but you can certainly SEE the stuff (if you were someone trying to copy it!)

Yes, it doesn't make sense to me either--between the runway pics, the random site pics, and the closeups that most stores email out if asked, it all seems kind of silly!

Agreed. Apparently stores were asked not to place pictures on their sites (to prevent copying) but as some stores still do...and the stores that don't send out pdfs of the clothes...it seems like a complete non-starter as far as great ideas go...

So, went to hejfina and the grey skirt didn't do it for me...but I ordered it in navy from CoC with the Thanksgiving sale discount.... I really, really need to stop shopping. Hopefully, the skirt will be a staple in my wardrobe for a looooooonnnnnnnnnggggg time.

yay, glad you got it. Is the CoC the wool or cotton version?
