you have the eyes of an eagle. I will call the store tomorrow to ask, but they're a little bit tainted for me now. I somehow didn't expect those awesome shoes to be designed by the same guy who makes shoes with a fish scale on them...not to mention there isnt another shoe of his I like even a little, they all seem so girly.

^ haha, you know, I'm not that familiar with Zanotti, but I was thinking something similar ... all the other shoes I saw were rather unappealing, but the gladiators are totally awesome. I even love the flats (but maybe not for that price!). And hey, if they are cool enough for Isabel, they are certainly cool enough for me!

Good luck hunting for them! I love them, but they are not for me ... I would fall and die in those.

^ there aren't really any online stores that sell Isabel Marant directly. There are a few stores that sell IM, creaturesofcomfort.us, hejfina.com, shopbird.com, shopworthwhile.com, and satineboutique.com. But you will need to email those stores to get PDF files of pictures and then place a phone order. You can order directly through yoox.com, however.

I received an email from the boutique rep in Paris, she said the shoes were produced and for sale in the Paris store, but which one? I'll be in Paris in June so hopefully I'll come home with them. how many Paris stores are there? is there a "main" one?

There are five stores which sell Isabel Marant and three of them are actual "Isabel marant boutiques" but I don't know whether there's a flagship store among them. Tell me if you need the adresses

True,Isabel Marrant has three stores in Paris.and thats only amongst one of them that you'll be able to find your Guisseppe Zannotti for Isabel marant shoes.(I believe they cost 595 euros)
The best one of her stores is the first one she opened in rue de charonne,Paris 75011 (near Opera Bastille),its a pretty arty area.Lou Doillon (Jane Birkin's youngest daughter lives near by )

In my opinion all 3 Isabel Marant stores are worth checking out - the locations of the other two - the one on rue Jacob and the other in the 3eme arrond. are also located in vibrant, cool areas and are of a comparable size. Its worth noting the store that you first visit doesn't have the specific item you are looking for they can get it in for you from one of the others.

Ages ago I was going on about the sheer tribal georgette tank with the floral print- well, for all its fragility, I caved in and got it about 1 day later because I just had to have it.

Thanks- I was kinda hoping it was a jumper/playsuit though! Did she do one for spring or am I imagining things?

I visited the store on rue jacob and the one in le marais and they were both lovely. Space-wise I preferred the one in le marais (it's the one with the cacti and succulent garden) I wish I could have seen the third, but my boyfriend's patience was wearing thin.

it is a jumper, the odelle dress is the same story but a dress. They are two different pieces.
