same analysis as tourist. i went up a size because of narrow fit but it fits like a cocoon shape.

LoveLetter - I had planned on sizing up but actually, they sent me my regular size, and luckily, it fits me perfectly. But I'm petite, and sometimes even a 0 is too large in IM, if that is any indication. I think unless you are also in the same position, it would be safe to size up, as Luckyme did. In any case, since it's not a fitted jacket, the sizing is probably rather forgiving.

les sucettes - thanks! Sorry you keep missing out on the boots. If you like the sort of warmer tan suede, I think Metier in SF might still have those.

tourist those boots are amazing, the colour isn't great for autumn weather but I sort of think the get better with wear.

good point about them getting better with wear. though irl they are actually darker and grey-er than the picture suggests, they are so pristine right now, i'm almost afraid to touch them ... this is a good reminder to just relax

Just wanted to let everyone know that Hejfina in Chicago (IM and etoile stockist) is going out of business. I think Sept 27th is their last day. As such, everything is reduced...current season by 25-50%...prior seasons by 70-90%.

They have a fair amount of Marant in the store right now (including the red tweed jacket posted a couple of pages ago)...

^ I'm not sure how many jackets were made in that tweed but Hejfina in Chicago definitely had one...don't know what size but it may be worth checking...

sorry you are having such a hard time tracking down the jacket charps. A few other places have the brown version of the jacket, if you are interested.

So I got one more thing, this top. I originally wanted the grey dress that luckyme posted, but it was ridiculously large. I did fall in love with the color and fabric, so I thought I'd give this top a try, and I love it.

You may want to try By George, a boutique in Austin, TX for the brown colorway of the Jelung jacket. I was there 2 weeks ago and they had the jacket in a size 1 and 2. I purchased the size 1 so the size 2 may still be there. I don't think Isabel Marant is particularly popular here in Austin so you may be in luck. I think they do ship internationally but I don't know how much they charge. Their number is 877.472.5951. If you can't get in touch with them, I was planning on going there this weekend to pick up some more IM goodies so I can check again then. Good luck, I hope you can get the jacket!
