this is jean-paul gaultier perfection. seriously, this reminds me of john galliano's old work for the house of dior in the best possible way. also, after giving us such powerful looks for menswear and stellar pieces in the couture, it's impressive that he has the creative juice to give us something this aggressively directional not even a month later. and then give us hermes.

makes me think of old galliano too ! the make up is quite messy in my opinion but i love the looks, very original especialy sasha's looks, so funny!

Since Lacroix is gone, I'm actually really pleased to see JPG picking up the slack here, mixed with his more familiar tailored jackets and coats and without the trashy predictable flourishes he's known for. It's cute, respectable, lots of fun, and much more wearable than the conservative retro collections on parade.

The last outfit is MAGNIFICENT!
