Poor RR indeed..he will hardly ever find a better replacement than John for MM. i think this is a catastrophé for OTB in general.

There's one brand where I think John Galliano would be great fit, but it's not LVMH: He should go to Etro. All that paisley; the house color scheme of magenta, orange, and chartreuse; the blend of Anglophilia and orientalism — it's perfect for him. And he would naturally raise house's profile in a way it sorely needs.

but i wonder if Etro management would 'allow' JG to completely revamp Etro? whilst they have that unique print that does it for them, would they let John do a full 360 revamp with Etro? That brand is so bland I personally feel they REALLY need someone like JG to wake it up lol.

Hope he's not going to Fendi ( couldn't careless about that house ). LVMH could get someone like Fabio Zambernardi for that role instead
