I kind of agree, it would be legacy Overkill. Also success really is measured in numbers when it comes to fashion. And he was not successful enough in his own Brand he made some bad mistakes when it came to contracts. But time will tellAnd a double post here (sorry ya'll) but I don't know if I really want to see more Galliano doing another brand. Or maybe if he were, a JPG collaborative collection would be great mainly for the sake of fun it may bring. Emphasis on may bring though.
But besides that, I dunno... I don't want to be nostalgic for a bygone era in fashion and nor do I want it to come back, but at the same time fashion is rather bleak. The maudlin feel of his last collection with no follow up - which was a shame really, a RTW counterpart would have lifted parts of it for the better - left me feeling rather empty. Great techniques, but it felt too precious.
