r2997178155.jpg
 The bag looks just like those Juicy & those Von Dutch Bags... :innocent: [/b][/quote]
YES!!! but its GALLIANO!!! :woot:

I think it may be that ever present form of humour - post-modern irony

OK... I agree that the collection went overboard ... the thing's I like some of the bags, the coats and the pants .. I'm sorry! You know I  DSquared!
In a way ..it fits me ... I've done the raver look with the furry boots :P (not so go-go, though)

I hate collections that are just a mix of so diffrent things that are placed in an obvious way and have no "backbone" (probably the backbone is suppose to be John's closet? ).

PS I hate stars like Xtina going to different runway shows for a reason... :yuk:

this collection just keeps geting worse and worse, seriously who is going to wear this and wear? well may be to have at the gay gym

 this is the gross-est , its grotesque, he needs a break

LENA  You're SOOOOO right , AS ALWAYS !!!

As I've said in my Dior Homme post , these clothes , or possibly their styling primarily , are WAY WAY too camp .

I am a gay man , but I have NEVER been able to stomach that outre gay exhibitionism ( like SCOTT  mentions ) as evinced by the various incarnations of Mardi Gras in Canal Street , Manchester , London , Sydney , or wherever . I'm NOT talking GAY PRIDE here , as that's another matter ENTIRELY . It's just the way out there , look at me , aren't I outrageous , prancing ' drag 'theatrics , that just arn't MY style .

I'm afraid this is what these clothes , or their presentation says to me imho .

As the ' pansy ' general said about WW2 " ,

" It couldn't be LESS my cup !
My dear ! The NOISE and the PEOPLE ! " .

PS

ANOTHER consideration , for both John Galliano Men , AND Dior Homme , are the PRICES !!! ( see post by Selfridgesworker ) .

If I'm going to spend the money , I'm afraid it would NOT be on these Galliano clothes , however cleverly designed . That's not to say that there is not brilliance at work here , the trousers cut on the bias sound FANTASTIC .

I pay all due respect to John Galliano's brilliance , but it's Hedi Slimane who's got it right THIS time .

Incidentally , have you noticed that Slimane , Galliano , Lang , Delcour , et al have put the PARIS Men's shows right back up there !!!!

MILAN was good as always , but Paris has been sublime .

"TWO FINGERS up to ANNA ' NUCLEAR ' WINTOUR " say I !!!!!

Those pants look like the ones he wore at the end of his Fall 2003 Haute Couture collection

I like the collection in dissection. The boots are good. Its kind of ironic that this collections attitude is right where I am right now,Sort of in a punkcowboyslut. That's my vibe for Spring.I want the Eskimo boot ant the garter vest.I also really like the garter jean. Most of the pieces ooze good sex to me.He was obviously horny when he designed this collection.
