OMG!! THIS is huge!! 
PARIS — Inès de la Fressange, the face of Chanel in the Eighties, will be back on the runway for the French brand at its show on Oct. 5, WWD has learned.
What’s more, Karl Lagerfeld has booked her to appear in Chanel’s spring/summer campaign, along with modeling greats from the two subsequent decades, Stella Tennant and Freja Beha Erichsen.
“She is beyond stunning,” Lagerfeld enthused about De la Fressange. “Also, she is the Parisienne.” Lagerfeld said the advertising shoot would take place in the south of France.
De la Fressange parted ways with Chanel in 1989 after a fracas over her lending her likeness to the French republic. But Lagerfeld and his former muse have recently enjoyed warm relations.
Today, De la Fressange is Roger Vivier’s brand ambassador.

After the shows, the fashion elite flocked en masse to a party in honor of Chanel uber-designer Karl Lagerfeld's collaboration with sporty Italian shoemaker Hogan. Kaiser Karl was in attendance, as were anyone who's anyone in the fashion world. The ponytailed designer regaled the well-heeled crown with a short black-and-white film about love and trust among models decked out in, you guessed it, Hogan.

Preparing for his Fall/Winter 1969 Chloe show...He looks like a movie version of a Paris fashion designer!! All he needs are lace cuffs and a quizzing glass -although he did, for many years , wear a monocle...

Not a word...I wonder if it wasn't a quiet way to end the line- I don't think there have been very good relations with the new owners the last year or two...

I thought it was because he wanted to change the line into something more web based instead of runways etc.
... but if it is to be more web-orientated then why haven't they put it online immediately/ live streamed the whole thing I wonder ... or even if it was just a presentation it still doesn't make sense that there are no reviews ... does anyone know if it actually HAS taken place? Maybe the cancelled the date? Delayed the show?
Sorry to be so insistent here, but a) I could hardly wait for his new collection and b) since he's so PR-friendly and always got the "It-girls" sitting in the front why so quiet this season ... ?

^ Seems funny- he is so PR oriented- there has to be more to this story...
