Why does everyone talk about her like they know her. It's her life, it shouldn't concern us. We don't know what goes on between her and her daughter or Pete.

This is the rumour has it board ;) Of course we don't know...we just judge on rumours and pictures and make an impression from that. It's not big, it's not clever but it is fun...

^ Fair enough.:flower:

But some people take her life too serious.

People who have bad habits get children, people who can't think get children, sociopaths get children....can we do anything about it? No. Should the social services step in? If so, they'd have to take away 30% of all children and give them to the superduper clean living, worthy, folks. Like Tom Cruise, then, perhaps :innocent:

Jeisa I don't think that Ieva was saying that the kid should be taken away. I think she was just having a good old 'tsk tsk'!

Tifa  You are right, it is fun isn't it?

though i dont necessarily approve of kate going out getting shitfaced every week, shes not nearly as bad as MANY celebrities
nobody ever mentions MALE CELEBRITIES who barely have child custody of their children just toss in few dollars every month and the deal is closed

i see candid pictures of kate every day and lila is on half of them, so surely, she must be taking care of her

Very :D It also helps me to procastinate even more from the important stuff I have to do

Somehow, they'll incorperate pregnate Kate into campaigns... perhaps Burberry will make a maternity wear line just for her.

Somehow people have the idea someone should be perfect if they want to have children, if this is so, we all shouldn't have children, because no one is perfect.
Parents make mistakes, big ones. Are your parents perfect?, did they do everything right? I can tell you my parents made mistakes, they are human, I don't blame them, I love them.
And I am very sure that a child could do a lot worse than Kate and Pete.

All people make mistakes. But let's just say that in order to be able to raise a child you should be somewhat stable and over or in control of hmm...problems, shall we say. How are you going to handle your child and his/her problems (especially in those teenage years!) if your own head is messed up?

It does not mean that a parent couldn't have "fun" every once in a while, go to a bar or a gig, have a one-night stand etc, but doing that about seven days a week is not something to do.

I do understand that people love her style and her ability to be care-free and have fun and be "rock'n'roll", and that is fine, but I think many people have a little bit rosy images of Kate...Think of any other person behaving her way, and then judge.

What do you think those children raised by 24h-party-people feel? Is anyone actually thinking the child's view here?

Kan-i-ta, what do you think is worse? If we are not thinking the psycopaths here.

And I still have to add, that SiennaInLondon's first post got it all. I agree.

It does not mean that a parent couldn't have "fun" (doesn't anyone think actually being with your child can be fun, and that "fun" does not have to include alcohol or other substances?) every once in a while, go to a bar or a gig, have a one-night stand etc, but doing that about seven days a week is not something to do.

I don't think many people ever see it from the childs view which is a shame as it is the children who end up even more messed up.:(

I think most people here are seeing it from the childs view, people are naturaly worried. But the truth is we don't know how her child feels, or how her futer child will feel. We just assume the something, we base our opinion on what we see in pictures and read in the tabloids/hear on tv etc. Some interpret what they see as 2 crazy, irresponsibe junkies, others see them as 2 young people who make an beautiful couple who love each other very much. I don't think I can change anyones opinion on this, and i won't try, the truth is that we don't know how the kids will turn out, we only can hope for the best.

Yes, we do not know anything like that. But what we do know for a fact from the pictures is that she is out partying almost every night, and we also know that drugs are involved (Pete was just in rehab). Those are facts. And those facts tell something about who is suitable for having a child.

I think Kate Moss comes across as a wonderful mother who does seem to spend alot of time with her daughter. But Potty Pete bless him well he seems to have a long way to go.

^ I agree w/ you taperjeangirl:heart: ....good luck to Petey boy:rolleyes: ....
and as far as Kate partying the night away....
why not?... wouldn't little Lila be sleeping anyway? Or should Kate invite her?:p

And what if Lila has a nightmare and wakes up? Or refuses to go to sleep? Children do need someone in the night too...

It is hard as parents still need a social life. I have wondered who was looking after Lila while Kate was in Italy singing on stage with Pete (Potty)

I guess it is important to find the right balance.
