I agree, they allways say wierd things but sometimes it just makes them sound stupid. Altough it must be part of their sense of humor and trying to be bit bad*ss...
Anyway, I like them but I absolutely adore Arcade Fire

Arcade Fire is an amazing band whose music is pure genius.
God I hope Nathan didn't say something that arrogantly stupid. For a band who say that they only ever wanted to be respected as musicians to turn around and say something so disrespectful about true artists really turns me off. Here's hoping Perez sources are as unreliable as always or Nathan was completely buzzed out of his mind when he say that.

I think Arcade Fire can come off as the sort of 'pretentious indie rockers' upon first impressions..but I am a fan of their music and imo - they are quite dedicated to their music. I don't know where the comment is coming from.. but it's probably just taken way off context. KOL's and their styles are completely different anyway . Musicians comment on each other all the time though and they're entitled to their opinions.. justified or not. Don't we all ?
