I love it, a nice change for her.
It's definitely got a late 90's early 00's feel though.
The only part that sounds like Cher's song is the basic beat, but that's a very common beat for club songs and I wouldn't call it ripping off. I don't think they sound that much alike.

I just hope there are more songs like Edge of Glory in the album, and less Judases!

i was disappointed in the edge of glory. i much prefer songs like judas... and im very much looking of forward to government hooker being released.. i prefer her sound more in that realm of music..a little bit weird, a little bit dark and edgy...

why is she releasing almost every song before the album actually drops? i seriously don't get it. well i'm happy cuz i'm really curious but that takes away a lot of anticipation for the album and in the end might not be the best promotional and therefore profitable move.

They're buzz singles. You download them prior to the album's release, and then get a discounted price on the 'complete your album' feature on ITunes. These songs were never slated to be actual singles, so it gives the album tracks a bit more of an airing as it were. I imagine it's also going to help piracy a lot!

Lady Gaga Arrives in France for Cannes Festival



Lady Gaga has arrived in France to kick off European promo for her new album. The singer was photographed leaving the Hotel Park Hyatt Vendome in Paris on her way to the Cannes Film Festival, where she is set to perform on Wednesday.

Gaga will take the stage on the famous Boulevard de la Croisette for a live concert, which will be broadcast on Canal Plus’ hit show Le Grand Journal. Later, she will sit down for a small interview with the show’s host Michel Denisot.
