I thought that Company cover was terrible, when I saw it on sale. She looked extremely pale, not her usual skintone at all, and her eyes looked odd...
I think she photographs amazingly normally!
but I've enjoyed just reading the interview
Is Company available in the U.S.?
That interview just shows how beyond her years she is and that "real intelligence" Stephanie Savage talked about. She doesn't need to put down her peers to prop herself up. I hate to make it a Blake vs. Leighton thing since both seem like down-to-earth, level headed girls, but that's the distinction right there. Leighton's so effortless when it comes to class and articulation while the former always has to weave it in every opportunity to talk about how above Hollywood she is (though never above enough to play the PR game).
(goodness knows i'm not a fan of Paris!) but I think Leighton's approach, which is more diplomatic and considerate, makes her come across as very mature, and having a strong sense of self and values.
