I was just wondering,as i don't wear much make up,
does lipliners really make any diffrence? If so,how ?
Is it worth buying?

Depends, if you want your lips to look very defined then you must use lipliner, it stays on longer than most lipsticks. It really depends what look you are going for. If you want a more natural look don't use it.

One trick that I use sometimes is putting lipliner that's the same shade as your own lipcolor just to line your lips and then use your normal lip gloss over, it makes your lips look larger but you still look very natural and un-made up.

Generally I'm not a lipliner fan though....

i know lipliner can b good to just tidy up the edges of ur lipstick, the bleedin that can happen

I sometimes use a nude lipliner (YSL #16) if I want to tone down the natural pigment in my lips. I color in my whole lips and then top it off with a milky beige colored gloss

I'm not really a wearer of makeup, but I find that lipliner can look cheap very easily. Personally, I would stay away. :ninja:

I don't use lipliner often. I don't use it with gloss at all. I sometimes use Oak or Stripdown from Mac-they are both nude colors. If I do a strong, red lip , I use one from Prescriptives called Redwood. You just have to be good at using them-take your time, blend them well or color in the entire lip like PradaP said so there is no eventual ring-around-the-mouth.

Hmmm I'm the opposite from everyone here....

I always wear a liner - and I have naturally full defined lips. For me it pulls the look together. I do blend quite a bit though, and if I am wearing a gloss, I'll apply the liner AFTER the gloss, and blend through.

My suggestion is to go to a counter and play. Have an artist show you looks with and without.

Good luck :) :flower:

i don't use lipliner as lip LINER. haha. more as a multipurpose lip crayon. you can use them to create new colors / add definition. . .
if you just want lipliner to stop your lip color from bleeding & to keep it put try body shop's lip line fixer. it's invisible so you can use it with any colors. & it has vitiamin e.

:flower:

PLEASE no dark lipliner with superr light gloopy gloss. :yuk:
