Loose T-Shirts

yes, this supposedly new trend has been around for a while

And for too long as well.....

I just can't stand the loose and distressed t shirt + skinny jeans look... How original...

I like the look on a lot of people, but I don't like it on me. I'm built very "hourglass" like, and I just look thick with a looser top.
I am too, but with the right weight tee, it drapes against my waistline, and obvious that I am thinner...but I know what you mean...
lol

I think its so much more flattering to wear a loose top..it's so much more understated then prancing around with your fat hanging out of your jeans or your belly showing or even your boobs popping out for that matter. :p

For loose fitting t-shirts, I recommend checking out young men's trendy shirts as well. Urban Outfitters sometimes sells slim-fit, worn-out plain, striped and graphic (if you're into that) men's shirts. What's nice about buying these kind of tees is that the fit is often narrower than, say, your run-of-the-mill crewcut tee. This works for me since I'm on the slim side to begin with and don't want to look like I'm drowning in a oversize guy's shirt.

I've been wearing loose tops with fitted pants for years now. I'm not sure if this is on the subject, but I also like to wear men's long-sleeved sweaters to play with proportion and masculinity/femininity.

I love loose T-shirts. I think hey look way nicer than those super tight ones as long as you don't over do it.

Is this weird? I really like loose Hanes V-necks from their Classics collection in size large. I don't know why, but it's just...so flattering. Hanes V-necks and skinny jeans rock my world.

I like this trend, but I think it's something only thin girls can pull off. Put a curvy girl in a tent-like top like that white one in the first post, and it's a disaster.

i was thinking the same thing. unfortunately for me, i can not pull off the huge tank tops and skinny jeans. i would love too but i'd have to drop about 50 pounds. HA!

its not surprising that wearing a skinny jean and a baggy t is hot. its coz you cant wear 2 skinny items without looking like youve been shrinkwrapped! The baggy and skinny combo shows equilibrium and thats why it works! Xx

Good Call! Those are amazing as well...So simple and sexy

It looks nice, but sometimes I think the whole baggy top and skinny legs are overdone.

It depends, many girls look very nice in tight tops.

I think tight top, tight bottoms makes people look like a kielbasa...or sausage link...lol

I think you can wear loose tops and loose pants

I have those jersey palazzo pants and and I wore it with a kimono style blouse everybody thought it looked nice , my bf was :D about it , I also think you can wear tight top and tight bottoms but the top should be cut properly.

i've been buying my tops two sizes too big to achieve this for the last year! glad to see now retailers will carry what i want.

you should just go to americanapparel.net and buy wholesale, not retail.
you can get tees in that style for like 3 bucks...wholesale or 24 retail...

So how do you do that?

you should set up a wholesalers account.

I found it!!! :woot: This is awesome! I'm calling them first thing in the morning. Now with wholesale I know sometimes you have to buy multiples of the same item. Is AA different?

If you have a wholesale account ,there is no minimum, from what I remember! You just need a wholesalers tax id...
If not,you will have to pay retail...
I would email the sales reps for details.
You can definitely mix it up.
