Loose T-Shirts

Apart from the new trend going on, i like the good old way of wearing the loose t-shirts. Just with jeans and a cool bag. Like the Frankie Ryder pic below, oh i love it!!

The longish tunic loose t-shirts or the oversized ones create a lovely look
aswell but i think it depends more on how you wear it than being slim. I like
what i see about the way they are used within the "boho" style so far anyway.

Is this weird? I really like loose Hanes V-necks from their Classics collection in size large. I don't know why, but it's just...so flattering. Hanes V-necks and skinny jeans rock my world.

I have some Hanes V-necks, too! My favorites, though, are Men's Jockeys v-necks. Jockeys are nice and soft, and fit my somewhat narrow frame better. My original set of three has lasted for the past SIX years!!.

Im not gonna read the whole thing someone may have already said this. But if you wore a long sleeve super loose and slouchy t-shirt worn under a gorgeously tailored blazer, I think that'd be a great play on shape and structure. Or a short sleeve tshirt worn under a waistcoat...

I love Men's Hanes V-necks. I wear them a lot with yoga pants to the gym but lately I'm finding myself wearing them under blazers, oversized cardigans and skinny jeans.

^^ Reminds me a bit of what Helmut Lang did a few seasons ago.... (the loose t-shirt + blazer look)... I will try to find a few pics and post them here. :flower:

I think it only looks good when you pair it with skinnies, to balance out proportions.

It also looks hot on really skinny guys :brows:

exactly how I feel! I never pay attention to "proportions" but oversized tops always compliment a pair of skinnies.^_^

Indeed, a lot of designers will be balancing out their oversized tops with leggings or tights for fw 06.07.... :flower: and it does work...!

Old Navy men's tshirts are really comfy too. It's what I'm wearing right now XD.

They're 'vintage' fit so they're already really soft and worn and thin but not to thin. I wish the fit was a little slimmer, but for $10 it's lovely.

^ For the best loose t shirts, I'd suggest American Apparel..... Well made fair trade products.....

I think also, the thickness of the fabric is an important factor in loose T-shirts. If it's made of say, heavyweight cotton, it just looks sorta bulky and hangs there. I myself prefer it to look somewhat draped and layered. My kick-back outfit consists of the Hanes V-neck, skinny jeans, and slouch boots/pointy stilettos. For me, the V-neck somewhat slouches off my shoulder and it's sexy but not obvious. I throw a short sweater or hoodie on top sometimes. It's awesome.

these shirts are a great trend. another great part about it is things fit you longer if you get them looser & a size up =]

I like this new trend it's really cute and it means I can be spared the sight of peoples love handles.
