I agree on the antebellum south comment. Something about it almost makes me uncomfortable. She kind of looks like a young mum from turn of the century south or something, going to church/work/wherever, as opposed to a modern young black woman. I'm sure this wasn't their intention at all, and in fact, it's wrong that you put a white model in that get-up and it's retro happy-go-lucky 50s and if you have a young black model, it doesn't conjure up that imagery but Chanel is so beautiful, I wish they had made her look happy and vibrant. Maybe it's just the dull lip color.
