Thanks Blueorchid I may do that! ...went to indigo today just cause i was in the eatons centre...they didn't have it yet ...I guess I will continue to wait patiently lol
I received my subscription a couple of days ago, I am very disappointed with the cover - really do not like it. The editorials are not as sticky-sweet and girly as usual, which is great in my opinion as I found the last one with the cupcake (?) dolls all too much... Some good interviews.
I like Kirsten's editorial, as well as Under The Pink. I never buy Lula primarily because of the expense and the magazine's overtly romanticized girly-ness, but I think that the talent of the photographers feature just may be enough for me to consider purchasing this.
I love Lucy's stories and I think she's as good as ever here but for some reason, I'm not feeling that story, I think I'm a bit over that little girl theme.. and I think they should move on too or at least develop it more and integrate some new elements.
I have to say, this definitely isn't my favorite issue. I like the styling, but I feel like it's too whimsical without any edge. Which I guess is Lula's appeal, but... I don't know, I feel like they've done better in the past. I find these editorials somehow dull. I was so excited to discover that the Mulleavy sisters were guest-editing, but I feel these are a bit lackluster. Can't wait to stop by a Barnes & Noble though to see the rest of the ditorials.
