I find it so odd that they consistently talk about good tailoring and fit when they don't show any interest in it in their personal style.

Ashley has to realise that what might work on a tall woman won't necessarily - or shall I say definitely - won't work on her. I like the idea of the look, but she is just swamped.

yeah well, when you're short, fitted and cropped are your friends. but it's kinda cute that she's still trying...

it´s funny they talk about tailoring and then come with such an oversized coat that has no shape. it doesn´t even fit that model.
ash looks cute and i bet the coat is her size but she is drowning. the model is drowning ,too, btw.

i think thats how it meant to look. the coat looks beautiful to me.

There is a difference between "fit" and something being "fitted." Oversized is a "fit," and a large amount of craft/tailoring actually goes into creating the perfect oversized silhouette.

But look where the shoulder sits on Ashley...it's at her elbows. It doesn't look as thought it's tailored to be oversized, it looks like it is literally 4 or 5 sizes too big.

I personally think she carries the coat well. I like how they don't let their height or size dictate their fashion choices. I feel like most petite women of their stature would stay away from larger fits, but the Olsen sisters just kinda make it work SO well.

if that camel blanket coat doesn't look good on model, it doesn't look good on anyone either.

^^ it's meant to have a dropped shoulder over sized "fit"
I'm petite myself but I do not really buy clothes based on their size but by fit. If I want it over sized then I go 2,3,4 sizes up. I guess it really is just a matter of personal taste, what you want to wear and how you would like to wear it.

Perfect from head to toe. I love how "precise" it is in a way.
