My observation is that Stefano and Domenico are quite loyal to models and the fact that Arizona and Hailey opened and closed respectively a Dolce&Gabbana mainline show means that the torch truly has been passed to a new generation of models.

For the record I do not have an issue with Arizona opening Dolce&Gabbana, it was one of the openings / closings that she was suited for.

Ultra-short hair is really not doing girls any favors in Milan - Saskia, Merethe, Kristina S all seldom seen...even Britt is arguably not doing as well as she can be (And slightly worse than last season so far).

Arizona should be glad she still has a few more inches than the rest

Did they used to have Marsh as the casting director than? The curious thing for me is that Jac never missed Prada and Marni before and now she's absent from the Milan shows which I thought are both casted by Marsh - Prada and Marni...

On a different note, I thought that the cast for Moschino Cheap and Chic was cute and fresh. It's mostly newbies or models who have been around but have not taken off (yet), although quite a few of them look better in photos than in motion. (list | images)

Dolce was amazing!!! I loved the Victoria Secret-ish backstage footage and the girls getting prepped (anyone else noticed Magda getting all pumped up backstage?).

great cast of Milan by far.

I really did not like that many of the models at Dolce&Gabbana did not do even a 1/2 second pose at the end of the runway and furthermore that the camera person did not shoot several of the models' faces / upper bodies when they were at the end of the runway. This is not a model-phile thing because usually you get the other details as the model is walking like the accessories, the lower half, the fit, etc., but I also want to see the details of the top part of the garment, the necklaces, the earrings, the makeup and even the attitude and that is what that head / upper body frame usually provides.

I know I am late
but ... WHY did Arizona have to open Dolce?? She's such a wrong choice.

I have never been a fan of her but also didn't see her in a negative way, I just didn't care much about her. She was there, it was allright and that's it.
But now it really turns into a huge dislike and rejection.
I'm a just so tired and sick of her face, of her appearance everywhere and the huge reputation she gets.
Others will disagree now and say she's an awesome model etc. and maybe she is. But not in my eyes! It really makes me mad and I can't help it anymore, her appearance makes me sick. And there is nothing like "escape" because she is simply everywhere!

It was very Victoria's Secret - in regards to the backstage footage as well as what you mentioned above . I noticed that too cause at one point I thought I saw Eniko Mihalik and was waiting for the camera to pan in, and then next thing you saw was the back of the model walking away.
