Model Casting F/W 11.12

I was somewhat underwhelemed by Dolce. I don't even know what I was expecting really since a lot of big girls were there, the cast wasn't too large like it has been lately, most of the girls fit the show, etc. But somehow all the build up and the hype around the cast led me to believe it'd be incredible - but it was kind of typical Dolce cast. Without Snejana, idky.

I think the problem for me was the fact that's it was basically the exact same show we saw for the fourth time in a row now. Same clothes, same runway, same army finale, same casting, etc. Just so over that whole thing.

And I do think it's huge that Arizona/Hailey opened/closed, that's probably the first time that nobody from the 'hey day' models opened/closed.

The VSmodels bring sexiness and seduce (sure also other models outside VS), I liked them all on the runway! They made me wanting that dress!

Wangster: I can see where you coming from. I also haven't a problem with her, but is starts to annoy that someone with such a bad walk opens/closes ans is everywere. She is also not suitable for every show, but there are not a lot models who are.

I agree with MyNameIs regarding Dolce.

I know Dolce had the killer cast but still I keep looking at Blumarine as my favorite show thus far, possibly because of the huge surprise in Candice opening along with a stellar cast, music and clothes, everything was just right.

Yeah, Blumarine has the trophy for "Best Cast" so far this season, although I'm sure Paris will top it off. Everything was just working together properly. The show was full of life, it's like a high fashion Victoria's Secret show.

at prada there was a cancellation of an exclusive about 2 hours before the show. but i am sure i am not the only one here who knows about that.

i am sure it was quite a difficult thing for the model. i am always amazed when they do that.

I don't understand Dolce&Gabbana. They cast girls like Isabeli, Candice, Alessandra, Izabel, Maryna, but they have Arizona open the show?! Candice should have opened that show! Being the second one out she totally out-shined Arizona.

And then they cancel Ana BB and Lily A (debatable), while they let some newbies that can barely walk take part in the show?
