I don't think Khaite ever had exclusive bookings although they should have at least done debut (semi-exclusive) booking given that Angelina Kendall debuted her first runway season closing the show.

Would love to understand what are considered to be the "top" or "A tier" shows for a model to walk in each city? Or is it entirely subjective? Are there certain shows that if a model walks they're immediately elevated to a new level?

I don't think it's subjective. Normally, all of Piergiorgio and Brokaw's shows are top-notch, with some exceptions, obviously. Armani hasn't been using well-known models in his shows lately, I think they'll continue this way.

Honestly, I find Fendi's casting unexpected. Chiuri generally avoided sending established and/or well-known models into the industry. There were Awar, Lulu, Libby T, Jacqui for example.

I don't think MGC was avoiding established girls at Dior, I heard from modeling agents she was just not getting them from most agents as it was getting worse and worse. Apparently Saint Laurent also requires the models to be very early on set and as both shows are on the same day usually, the best girls were at Saint Laurent with Piergiorio rather than at Dior with Michelle Lee

In a podcast, several years ago, she said that by choosing less famous girls and not top girls she was “trying to defend the profession of modeling.” However, what you’re saying could actually be a reason she chose not to explain.

Can confirm. This season agents are being told their girls can do either Dior or SL, not both. Maybe top girls will find loopholes though

I wonder where Angelina Kendall is, it's strange that she wasn't at MaxMara or Boss today. Vivienne Rohner looked beautiful at Missoni and also at MaxMara, I also liked Vika Evseeva. Matilde Lucidi seems to be having a good season.

I was just thinking this. I’m wondering if she’s established enough to the point where she can start being really selective about which shows she walks?
