Amanda and Liu looked pretty rough, yeah. The lighting at Prada didn’t do any favors for the more veteran girls…
Thats a good thing, the flood of girls getting only a look each was tired, they brought back the focus on the cast being as important as the clothes.Only 15 models at Prada...
I cannot agree with you. With brands already using AI plus less runway shows than before, models already have less work, and I want to see more of them, not less.Thats a good thing, the flood of girls getting only a look each was tired, they brought back the focus on the cast being as important as the clothes.
Just for them to be paid in beauty products and clothing samples? No thank you. I'd rather see Miuccia and Ashley focus on 15 girls who actually have a chance to last more than a season than on 35 flop girls who will only walk that show and fade into oblivion next season.I cannot agree with you. With brands already using AI plus less runway shows than before, models already have less work, and I want to see more of them, not less.
4 each I think! I thought it was amazingLoved that the girls all got 3 looks, very earl 2000s Prada of them.
Well, I liked the idea too, and in fact I ask you why there isn't the habit of giving at least two looks to a model anymore? However the only thing that bothered me was that the outfits were practically almost the same so it didn't make much sense hahahaLoved that the girls all got 3 looks, very earl 2000s Prada of them.
Reminds me when it was like 10+ exclusives in a sea of 40+ models, a full dozen of newcomers, allegedly all "out-of-the-blue overnight sensations". Now the trick is old and out of the blue isn't exactly that easy any longer with every teenager having some social network accounts, Prada had to find another one to, as you rightfully wrote it, "call it a day". I can't really say that randomness is the new black, because it's already getting old as well but so-called exclusives are just another overused and overrated joke you see every five minutes every season. The real question I asked to myself was why Prada didn't go for some no-exclusive cast instead of this. That wouldn't make headlines for too long (or not at all) but to all of us who still care about model casting, it would have been a change making sense for once.Prada booked 15 exclusives and called it a day.
At least I believe they were all exclusive.
Completely agree with youjulia nobis is everything i dislike about this business in the last 10, 15 years...
