Romina Lanaro was a big surprise at Chanel.
Anne V closing the show was also great, but for a moment when she entered the runway I thought it was Karolina Kurkova. I almost died. Anyway, Anne did a great job.

Since her beauty contract expired, she no longer walks the runway for them during fashion week, as the contract required. Instead, she did the Métiers d’Art show. I’m not sure whether there are any contractual clauses with Carolina Herrera or Dolce & Gabbana that might prevent her from taking part. Or it might simply be her own choice after doing so many shows over the years. I’d be curious to know if there’s any drama behind it. And also Vivienne Rohner doesn't walk Chanel anymore, and I'm sorry about this. I did find Mona’s absence at Chanel strange, though.

Yeah, it seemed to be a trend this season. Since the models you mentioned usually do very few shows by choice, it makes sense for their agencies to secure well-paid exclusives for them. If they’re only walking a handful of shows anyway, it’s a very profitable strategy.
