Patent bags and bags w/patent trim

dgie - Your Chanel patent camelia bag is gorgeous.

pucci - I love the Lanvin Hero bag too.

spike - I've been eyeing that Gucci clutch for a while. That would be my perfect evening bag.:crush:

khoipond - I quite like that LV with Patent trim and Mat Leather. On the other hand I think I'm a bit over LV but the one you post is nice.

kimair, the 2 bagsposted are actually of Vinyl...the first is canvas with a Vinyl layer, and then stamped with monogram to reexpose the canvas, and the Mirior Alma Voyage * which I LOVE and have in my avatar* is sadly also made of Vinyl...

i never really cared for patent until i saw some of the beautiful patent muses! now i'm noticing patent everywhere and have to say, am really coming around.. dying for the black patent muse, but must be good and save money.. kimair, i'm so jealous of you and your chocolate patent muse! can't wait to see that one..

kimair, the YSL muse in patent looks very cool. I think I like it because it's kind of an unexpected shape for a patent bag.

And softgrey, that Fendi bag is very, very cool. As you said, the more beat up it's gotten, the cooler it looks. It's sleek but with a slightly rugged twist.

I'm loving the retro feel of this Gucci clutch, though it's slighly less versactile than the rest of the bags posted.

I REALLY like the gucci clutch, but since it's handheld, it's going to be terrible to keep clean. One thing about black patent is that it shows fingerprints very easily. A shoulder bag is hard enough but a clutch would be impossible. Take that into consideration if buying that bag.

Kimair, OMG the chocolate patent muse is TDF! I might even check that bag out .

Yes, the chanels are all vinyl as are the LV's you've posted.

man that stinks that the LVs are vinyl...
i really like the shape of the drawstring bag...

spike...i love that gucci clutch...
especially the attached bracelet...
very cool...

i love the gucci clutch that spike posted too!!!......

pucci, love that bag  post pics when you get it!

on the topic of red patent, my only patent bag is red and I've been carrying it on the summer, I dont mind it at all.

Patent leather was always traditionally a spring/summer item. (Yikes, this knowledge really ages me!) It would always come out around Easter time - white patent and black patent in particular. About 15 years ago I had some awesome brown patent shoes that I wish I had kept!

here is a fendi from yoox...

i like the way it dips on top...seems ergonomically correct somehow...
like it allows room for your shoulder...
:P

yes---that one!!...:P...

*what do you guys think of that colour combo?...

i like it..
i think it might look good with jeans and casual looks...
but not so much with what i usually wear...
plus i really do think it looks better in black..

the ONLY thing holding me back the the very washed bumpy leather...
but i think i like it...
i wish the chain was more golden...
in real life it isn't shiny at all...
it's kind of dull...meant to look a bit worn in i guess...
