all your short skirts are fabulous. brave young girls...lets see all 3 on please. show us those long legs. :flower:

I concur! -_- ...

luckyme I hardly have what you can call long legs. But I think short skirts are flattering on me as I am short..

Yes, short skirts can indeed be delicious, to keep it it in the culinary vocabulary, on any leg length! :p :flower:

pelmet is the type of shape of the skirt... I don't know if it's only used in the UK? here is an article on it: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4158/is_19990320/ai_n14217484

and if you search for 'pelmet skirt' on google then you'll find it.. miu miu does a lot of those types 'pelmets' every season.

softgrey
It's only pleated at the front, but I must warn you the skirt is SHORT! It is great, so close to the skirts miu miu always makes, for a fraction of the price!

It is indeed already very cold here, but sometimes we get quite warm days again.. I have stocked up on opaque tights from Wolford so I should be good when the tights season come. :D
Alas, as we have not had any summer here I feel 'ripped off' I still feel the need for bare legs. :/

Can you post a pic of the inside maybe--how you tied it together? That's the part that's confusing me....I probably shouldn't have taken it apart in the first place....:hardhead:

I am also puzzled by the armhole...:ermm:

browns is so tempting right now with free shipping but the new Dries is more tempting.

how funny are you two with this scarf. you both should try it and take a pic and let us decide. inquiring minds what to know.

and yoox just sucked me in with these 3.

the dries sweater might be too much pattern for me. it might even be ugly, just not sure about it until I see it IRL.
junya top is cool though. I've seen it before and always wanted to try it.
the ann d. sweater is a black basic, nuff said. love it.

agreed, that's a good title. it will start to get filled up quickly with comme, I'm sure.

thanks for the nice comments on the Dries oxfords. they go with everything in my ever growing (thanks to this thread) closet. I wear them all the time. honestly, I might have to get another pair just in case I wear them out. :p

after looking over on the browns website, thanks to multitudes insistence, I picked these as my wish list. and I do mean WISH list, not must buy list. the colors this season from Dries are truly amazing ...I'm getting kind of tired of shopping lately if that's at all possible...

mulititudes, I tried on that dress, in the long sleeve tunic version earlier this season and it is dreamy. its sheer, very fragile, and the price is high.

god, don't get me started on the marni website. I bought a red (I've been on the hunt for something red) silk top and a tan wool skirt the other day. I've been a bad, bad girl. I also love the zipper top but as it is we've been eating a lot of pasta lately.

softgrey, I love those boots, they are they're timeless. I could totally see the boots and that sweater with your mini...

Lucky The Junya top and Ann Sweater is wow! :woot: ... Especially the Junya top is really intriguing and beautiful  ...

I know it's expensive, but I just find it so beautiful! It kind of make me a bit disappointed with Dries mens line when I see what he design for women!

Talking about Junya, is there any of you girls who's been looking at Junya boots for Fall/winter?
I think I remembered some fierce ones! B)

Lucky, I love it all...! That shade of orange is perfect. The Junya top will work well with l/s tops and both trousers and skirts. It's punk-y, too.

Good stuff! You're a 'good girl' in my book. :p
