Okay >.< maybe overreacted a little, but it gets on my neres when people do that "I'm right, everyone else is totally wrong" thing. Oh well.

^^^ its always each to their own:p

although if anyone ever said to my face that i appeared ugly to them because i choose to adorn my body with piercings they would certaintly get a piece of my mind. theres a rich and varied history to body modification and is certaintly not just a punk/metal/alternative stereotype

i love girly things, i wear bows in my hair and i study fashion i am certaintly not a alternative stereotype but i have had my wrist pierced, my collarbones, nipple and several in lobe piercings a tragus, anti tragus and two cartlidge piercings and i really want my septum done if it makes me ugly so be it but i feel prettier with my piercings that without them:blush:

^^ exactly.

And I really want my nipples done! I used to have the left one done but I took it out a couple of years ago and now I wish I hadn't :( I want rings in both nipples. Although piercing the scar tissue on the left one is going to sting like a b*tch. But it's so worth it.

Now, if only I had the funds...

i really want my septum done but im waiting til i get my student loan in january:innocent: and im having to pay for my tattoo aswell :ninja:

Tattoos are annoyingly expensive if you get them done properly. Although it's worth it. Mine was £60 and took half an hour (and is maybe six-inches' worth of lettering) but I got it done at the best place in the city I lived in at the time, and nearly 8 months on it's still totally perfect, and everyone comments on how well it was done. <3

ha ha ha i know but it always think its value for money since i'll be wearing it everyday. i'd love to get something off Thomas Hooper i love his style but now hes in new york and expensive anyway maybe one day if im rich and can afford it.

Alright, I have an odd and demanding request. I would like to get a piercing/earring combo on my ears that will look elegant, feminine, unique, and minimalist. I know those are very subjective terms, but I have no idea how to visualize what I want, and I'm sure it exists. Any suggestions/pictures?

Just for background, I used to have three holes side by side on each ear and a nosering (tiny diamond stud, never a hoop), but it's something I grew out of a long time ago. I now have the standard single-pierced ears. My style is more refined and "grown-up" now, but I'm craving a smidgen of subversiveness.

I'm thinking about getting a very small gold stud on my tragus. I've already got both of my ears pierced and a 3rd piercing right next to my right one (i didn't want to get both because i like the difference...). so if i go ahead and get the tragus, i'm going to have a total of 3 piercing in one ear and one on the other, haha.

that's exactly what i was going for when i got my third stud on my right ear in addition to my already pierced ears. it's very feminine because it's quite small, it's not screaming for attention or anything. that's sort of what i want my tragus to be like too. :) hope i helped!

Im thinking about a nipple piercing...hurts like hell...but something for me too see ;)

^^ I've always wondered about that, because I know a couple of people who have them and hide them in their work environment. Can it flip down on its own? It must be funny talking to a work colleague or your boss and your piercing suddenly appears out of nowhere.

got my septum pierced yesterday:D

and with the retainer flipped up you cant tell that i have it at all.

ooh! pleasee tell me about it!
im really considering getting mine done! how easy is it to hide and how much does it hurt?!
i just really want an honest account cause people i know who have it, you can tell theyre just saying it doesnt hurt cause they want to appear hard.

I used to have my nose pierced, I wish I hadn't taken it out and let it close up, miss it!
thought getting my nose done was the worst piercing (in terms on pain!) ive ever had, and ive had a few over the years!

really?!
the first time i had my nose pierced i honestly didnt think it hurt
now if thats because i expected it to hurt ALOTT i dont know
but saying that the second time i got it pierced (it fell out and healed up) it hurt like a b**ch it
my eyes ran like mad and my nose bled loads on the REALLLY fit guy who pierced me
i absoloutely love my nose piercing though, my face wouldnt look right with out it.

its extremely easy to hide just flip up the retainer and ta da i wore it flipped up til it healed no one knew i had it until i switched the jewellery to a horse shoe barbel its even less noticable if you invest in a black retainer just incase someone happens to peek up your nose;)

out of all my piercings i wouldnt say it really hurt i would say it was on the same level of pain as getting my tragus and anti tragus done they had that uncomfortable pinch feeling with abit of pressure. it was more the shock of my eyes watering imediately after this tends to happen with most nose piercings.

its also healed very nicely too i havent had any problems with it. i like how its easy to choose whether to show it off or not so easily, its just another accessory to pick with an outfit:p
