Prada was scary and always is, I tried the lip look myself and my sister literally screamed when she saw it. She was like: 'Omfg your lips are bleeding'. It was really funny but then I explained I was trying the lips look from a show and she was like: 'WTF?'.
The looks on her face was priceless.

Maybe the makeup artists are trying to get the models to look hideous so that the audience would rather gawk at the actual fashion than the models themselves. After all, that's why they're having the fashion shows, right?
