his outfit (in particular) was perfect

this was absolutely one of my favourite miuccia collections ever.

finally something sombre from Prada. *No model talk in D&C* everything was deathly and delightfully sober; loved how the pieces had this almost militarist/socialist Weimar vibe, as if there was a preWWII congregation held for naval officers, scientists, doctors and the like. very very interesting, can't wait to read Tim Blanks' meditations on this one.

The last outfit was simply sublime! My fave one as well.

Yes, the tailoring was impeccable and very crisp
Yes, the music was amazing
Yes, the casting was perfect (suited the collection perfectly)
No, It was not my favorite at all (the overcoats especially that red coat on Adrien B. were the best parts)

even with all of these modern element (the eyewear, the shoes, the oversized collars, he prints) i still felt like this collection seemed a little dated and almost as if Miuccia referenced too much. But i guess i may be the only one not wowed this time around

What a boring collection... Prada can be dark and much more creative, especially with the texture. I remember the collectiom full of studs for example. I feel some Thom Brown influence on the collection.

Nothing special for me....

I was so moved by the whole collection and saw it all as very phenomenal. But then I realised... it's not Prada. It's Lanvin, McQueen, Van Noten, Miu Miu, Vibskov and more altogether. But where's the Prada? The inspiration from the 19th century Prussia/Russia is way too visible.

I'd like to know who actually designed the collection and why Miuccia let this happen.

I see more expressionist cience fiction movies!
It was crazy scientists, vampires, Jack the Ripper, villains, i totally love it cause it was very dark but at the same time has this femenine side that Miucca loves in men.
And I said it again: EPIC SHOW!

this is like the men's equivalent of Tom Ford's fashion show, casting wise...

that said, i do have to repeat that i like it when Miuccia is forced to do a restrained collection. we've seen how crazy things go when she feels like she can do whatever she wants. basically we see what is really her bread and butter when it comes to menswear: well cut suits, black leather shoes and black overcoats that look mighty masculine. boring? yes. does it sell? yes. do i gleefully watch Miuccia as she tries to do more things that are out of the box but can't? yes and yes.

one thing's for sure, the cast was a pretty damn well kept secret and will earn her a lot of talk in every magazine and newspaper.

Don't worry you're not. It's "aristocratic" and so what ? Each pieces of this collection can already be found at Harrod's london ! this is so classc, not classic Prada, but still... I think it's a beat easy

It's too safe for me. Where's the quirky Prada vibe that was very apparent in the last few seasons?

One thing I liked about Prada collections is that it may put you off at first but then you get to like its ugliness after awhile. This one's too tame.

BOOOOOOOOring collection
