^Really? When? At St. Andrew's?? She seems so desperate to be a princess I can't believe William can't see it.

Wills is so strange. He's dumped her Soooo many times, some even the press hadn't heard.

And yet she puts up with it...either because she loves him or she knows what she'll get by sticking around.

I bet he thinks he can do better but he must have some delusions about his own looks. Beyond being Prince, he is not exactly eye candy for many girls, at least not the girls he probably thinks he can or should get. I'm excluding his personality from this since many people have said its less than desirable...even bios on him...

Maybe she is someone he can trust but that's not the only reason you should stay with a person, he might find the love of his life out there somewhere. Look at Frederick and Mary of Denmark, it took his 30 something years to find her. I think he's settling and I don't think he should especially since she's just after a title. I can't believe he doesn't see that.

I actually think Harry would announce an engagement before William.

I have to point out here, notice Kate hugging Wills but he's not hugging her back. Seems like the story of their relationship.... Geez he needs to go out and find the love of his life before he marries this girl and gets STUCK for the rest of his life.

Here is Wills in 2002 with unknown girl, he looks much more happy to be with this girl than he ever was with Kate. I'm just saying....:innocent::innocent:

I will be very surprised if Wills marries Kate, especially from the recent pics of Kate partying with her Mummy in Boujis. Her Mummy is wearing a rather short dress.

It is very simple to see whatever one wants to see in a photograph or to selectively choose photographs to illustrate our point.

It is all too easy for some people to sit infront of a computer halfway around the world looking at photographs and reading the often misinformed ramblings of the Daily Mail and believe that they know who this girl truly is and what she wants from life and this relationship. The only truth is that neither HRH nor his minders are stupid, and what they see in Kate is obviously very different to what you see.

Her mummy came out of a nightclub. I don't find that very good.

They were wrong about Charles and Diana, Andrew and Fergie should I go on? So what makes them the authority on anymore relationships!:innocent:

Euro I can't believe she was clubbing with her mom, I mean my mom and I are close too but I would never go to a night club with her, it would be too weird. This family is so strange!

William and Kate are probably more alike than people think...they both seem to carry the same vanity.

I do think it could be a turbulent marriage and her mother is very stage-mothery in a bizarre old school way. Rather than pushing her daughter to movie stardom, it's more about marrying UP. LOL

^ Yeah I'm going to start calling her a "momager" like the celebs do when their mom is their manager.

Does anyone know if Kate has had any other boyfriends before Wills? There hasn't been any reports about past boyfriends so that makes me wonder if Wills is her only one. Isn't that a little weird to only have one boyfriend that you met in college?

She's had quite a few before Will. She's more experienced than Will.

Oh, I wonder why they haven't come out with any stories to the press. Do you know who they are? Are they from high school?

My thoughts exactly! "Waity Katie"

Princesses at war
April 19, 2008
From: Morung Express

Kate Middleton's chances of becoming a princess are fading fast, but Chelsy Davy seems to be winning plenty of royal supporters. Kate, the girl once considered the perfect partner for Prince William, has fallen out of favour, judging by the whisper campaign being waged against her.

Her big mistake, according to senior royal sources, was giving up her job with British fashion chain Jigsaw last year. They point out that Princess Diana worked up until the day she became engaged to Prince Charles, while Sarah Ferguson, who married Prince Andrew in 1986, and Sophie Rhys-Jones, who married Prince Edward in 1999, both kept their jobs even after their royal weddings.

But Kate, 26, seems to be wasting her art history degree and is just waiting to get an engagement ring on her finger. Although she was rumoured to be planning a career change - moving to New York to work for fashion photographer Mario Testino - he says bluntly: 'I promise you, she's not.' Now Kate's become purely a lady of leisure, earning her the cruel nickname 'Waity Katie'.

'She seems to be counting her chickens before they've hatched,' admits Dickie Arbiter, the Queen's former press officer. 'She needs more on her CV than a knowledge of nightclubs.' Another royal insider adds: 'The knives are out for Kate. Her few years of fame may be coming to an end.'

But while Kate's likeability is heading south, Prince Harry's Zimbabwean-born girlfriend Chelsy, 22, has endeared herself to everyone at court - despite the fact that her fondness for smoking and boozing in clubs has earned her a racy reputation. Prince Charles is particularly fond of Chelsy, so much so that he's allowed her to stay overnight at his homes in London and Gloucestershire. Chelsy is in good favour as she worked hard to gain a degree from the University of Cape Town and last year moved to the UK to begin a postgraduate law degree in Leeds.

But their career choices isn't the only thing setting the two potential princesses apart, with courtiers revealing they haven't been impressed by Kate's readiness to pose for photos at high-society events either. 'She always looks like the cat that got the cream,' one says. 'But she shouldn't start lapping it up just yet.' Conversely, when Chelsy is in public, she scowls, making it clear she doesn't want attention.

Kate's middle-class upbringing has also caused her pain, with some courtiers sneering at her humble origins. Her dad Michael was a pilot and her mum Carole an air hostess. Both now run an online children's party company. Meanwhile, Chelsy's father, Charles, who has made millions from his safari company in southern Africa, keeps his family well away from the spotlight - much to the delight of those at Buckingham Palace.

But Kate's biggest downfall is probably her desperate need to become a princess. 'Even if she dived into the sea to save a drowning child, she would be accused of doing it to improve her image,' a London public relations expert says.

Chelsy, on the other hand, doesn't want to rush Prince Harry, 23, down the aisle. She left him for several months last year to travel and again after he went to the rugby instead of her birthday party. When he bombarded her with phone calls and flowers and she learnt he was heading to Afghanistan, she took him back. Then, when he returned, she dashed to his side for a passionate reunion.

Prince William is now on a flying course with the RAF and in June will start training with the Royal Navy. Such long stretches away from Kate spells even more disaster for their relationship, which is now mainly conducted on the phone. And with Prince William saying he won't get married 'until I'm at least 28 or 30', it seems there's a long way to go before Kate fulfils her dream of becoming a princess.
