Project Runway Season 3

I never liked Angela.

What is up with those skirts she always wears, and apparently makes?? So I'm guessing that she is the new Wendy of the show.... unless of course, she is the one who gets kicked off next week. *crosses fingers*

I thought Allison should have won. She has been very consistent in making, what I think to be, great clothes.

Lotus, tulip...I loved Daniel V's & Bradley's outfit. Very classy outfits made by them...

Is it me or did Angela wear a skirt matching to her hideous outfit on the runway?

Bradley's was so reminiscent of Daniel Vosovic's lotus or whatever inspired outfit, and I loved both of them!

Angela's was so so so bad. I can't believe she stayed  Can't stand that woman.

Good point about Daniel V!

And how stupid was Angela's story about her peice??! CrAzY talk!

angela should really go .. bradley, love him much. glad he pulled it off.

Angela really needs to go.. her clothes (+ her own personal style) just completely lacks sophistication, elegence, and class and basically looks like high end Kids 'R' Us stuff (and maybe she should take a cue from Kids'R'Us and go ouuuuut of business!)..

Kayne's dress reminded me so much of Nick's from last season's Barbie challenge thinger!! Must've been because of the headscarf & patterns. And I agree with whoever said that Bradley B's shilouette looked like Daniel V's-- but executed much more poorly. I am not a big fan of Bradley; he's too shapeless, baggy, and not too feminine or flattering. And he had such a defeatist attitude this week!

Keith is definitely this season's Santino. Way overconfident, thumbing his nose up at the judges, thinks he knows better than they do, et al.

I LOVED Michael's dress with a crazy passion. Beautiful neckline, completely flattering, revealing yet still chic and sophisticated! Cute hem too, I liked how it kicked out. I am SO surprised he hasn't won a challenge yet; once I saw his dress I immediately thought he would win. What're the judges looking at, anyway?! Plus, Michael def. wins the award for greatest commentary.

And, er... anyone else sick of seeing Laura's bony old chest?

haha someone else noticed Laura's bony chest! ahaha

Angela is truly ridiculous..a 30 something year old woman prancing about in a hot pink flowery mini skirt that looks like it's for a 3 year old. She would be a great children's designer. Not this show thoughhh!

I noticed that right when he picked the fabric. Maybe if they changed fabric stores every so often, they wouldn't pick similar fabrics from someone who used it the season before...:innocent:

[i.e. When Santino used a fabric that Austin Scarlett used on a dress...]

Dur...

That's true, she's flat. But not every girl [or woman] is lucky to have a pair.

IT'S ABOUT DESIGN, NOT "BOOBIES OUT EVERYWHERE"!!!!!

I was so trying to quote Heidi, haha.

I agree with you there.

I thought his dress was pretty good but I LOVED his dog outfit! Not too costumey and very well done.

And I've noticed that about Laura. I've never seen a neckline so low on a woman...... .....with 5 kids. Don't get me wrong, she looks great for having 5 kids but who wants to see their mother dressed like that.

The fact that Angela has yet to be voted off is a feat within itself. HOW did she go two weeks with bullsh*t and not get Auf'D? The miniskirt thing was ridiculous, the fact that she wore one too only added to the fact that that's only what she knows how to do.

Love love lOVED alison's, i thought she would definatly win. If not hers than it would have been michels, even though he wasn't in the high vs. low group. his was very creative and edgy.

Does anyone else love that Vera Wang is on, and providing actual insider advice and commentary. She was looking at construction and structure and hair and everything ,things that nina and michael kors seem to forget sometimes.

I wish Laura would stop with the full, fur collars and jackets, yes ..we know you're glam, chic, sophisticated designer, we don't need a chanel-esque influence to everything. thanks.

Lastly, once again I ask myself this week, who the hell casted these models for this show???? Only 1 or 2 can actually walk, the others are wanna-bes. Bradley's model this week looked like she was coming down from a coke hit and was all slouched with sunken eyes. (Ps. how did bradley pull off having a judges favorite in 5 mins before the show?? crazy i tell you crazy)

I'd also like to add that Angela's "kids camp ASSISTANT director in Paris, for a dogs birthday party who happens to be the mascot" story was the most ******** thing I may have ever heard in my life. It just happens to be the assistant director , not the actual director? must be the actual directors of kids camps in paris with dogs named PattyCake have taste in clothing, their assistants get the shaft.

Thats all.

I love Vera Wang over Michael Kors [as a judge] now!!!! Shows you don't have to be bitchy in order to be a judge.

I must the only one who doesn't notice the models though...Not ever since that crazy blonde on Season One. Haha.

I couldn't agree more! I love my Ali!

I'm very disappointed that Angela didn't get kicked off... I didn't think voting Katherine off was justifiiable. Angela screwed up TWO challenges in a row! Not fair for Kat!

I really can't see any reason why Angela stayed. Her story made my head swirl and the poor model looked like street trash.

Well, I for one think Vera Wang should replace Micheal Kors for season four. I still hate him. (I want her and Tim Gunn to be judges. That'd be great. Oh, and Anna Wintour. Obviously never going to happen, but her advice is the best you'd ever be able to receive!)

I think Keith should go home. He may have good designs, but he's so arrogant and generally icky. Angela, on the other hand, I need to see the next outfit. She really hasn't shown a consistant image in her designs for me to make a good decision on her. Katherine's design was simple, but her aesthetic should get her far in the sportswear world. I can see a lot of mall-level stores selling her clothes.

Kayne's outfit was nice, but it wasn't especially new or different. Allison's design-- I really didn't like it, but I understand that it is modern, but with that hair, she looked more like a dinosaur than Ivana did. I wish I saw a bit more of Bonnie's outfit. I think I liked it...but it wasn't too memorable. Jeffery's dress was very commercial compared to his last. Maybe he's getting out of the deconstruction-y thing for the judges? I hope.

Michael's was NICE! I had hoped it would win. So much different than the others. And I love Laura's "stand by my man" comment. Her design, on the other hand, was pretty bland. She seemed to do a repeat of the first episode. I liked Uli's, but not enough to give it a win. Her dresses are all very similar, all in the bohemian/flowy vein, and I'd like to see her branch out. Robert! I had such high hopes, but I just didn't see the vision. It was very New York, which he went for, but it was so...done.

Breakout star: Bradley! I hadn't been too sure of his talent before this episode, but even with that lack of time management, his outfit was great! I can't wait to see his next design!

I still do wish that Project Runway would start putting some attention on the mediocre designs. It seems like if there is no drama, it will get no mention. (Michael, Bonnie, Kayne, even Robert) You saw very little of them going through the design process, which I would have liked. Also, this episode has the best group of designs yet. I didn't really dislike any of them. And most were exceptional.

I agree with the above. ^^ Seems like you have to be a loud mouth, really odd, attention getter or b*tch in order to get your designs noticed on there. What a shame...

i'm in the middle of the episode and i am loving the contrast between keith and bradley. the episode had a lot of those two and i loved it!keith's comments are quite entertaining albeit arrogant. angela's skittles really should have gone home with her! bradley on the other hand, is just so sweet and i find him to be humble. the defeated attitude, i thought, was warranted. it's just one of those days, i think. love him and alison. they're my favorites ( i still like keith- despite the arrogance, i think he's got talent). ;)

*so next week's the episode where one's going to be asked to leave. quite exciting!

Amen. I do not see any appeal in her designs (although I like her fine). Yes she executes well, yes her clothes are clean and sophisticated. But come on, a tweedy suit with a big furry collar as something someone who owns a toy dog would wear? Um, even I could have come up with something that obvious. Her clothes are exactly what you see in Ann Taylor, nothing innovative at all there.

Michael's dress was perfection. Loved the top, loved the back, loved the fit around the model's hips, the colors, loved everything.

this is a really talented bunch. i even liked vincent's toned-down look (with the exception of those leggings which nina also sported) i loved michael's dress. bradley, considering that he didn't have much time, produced quite an amazing look. i agree about laura. it's cute but i didn't like it. it looked like a poor man's chanel. i loved uli's and alison's. either one deserved to win. keith's dress was also amazing but the attitude  he should really be humbled (although, i found his comments -"bad mommy, i had a good mommy", "angela's skittles", etc.- morbidly fascinating and quite funny). he's quite strange (and strangely appealing) but i like him. angela, please go away. she doesn't have an impressive taste. i quivered when she said people mistake her clothes as yves saint laurent. please! ysl isn't that vulgar and cheap. i liked katherine's attitude but her work didn't really stand out. can't wait 'till next week. i really hope keith, alison, robert, uli and bradley would stay. maybe angela's the one being kicked off? that wouldn't be much of a scandal now wouldn't it?

i'm surprised no one missed michael kors. i do, a little bit. i love vera wang though. she should be a regular. her comments are very insightful and isn't just about the surface but the whole look, feel and construction of each creations. ivanka was so elegant and had such good insight. and i might be in the minority but i love nina garcia. her harshness makes sense and she can be really optimistic about the designers and their work. :flower: i agree with ilaughead about anna wintour. i think her comments will be helpful to these up-and-coming designers. i like her. i wonder if she has a sharper tongue than nina.

Did anyone besides me notice that in the first episode when Keith's sketches are being shown that they look like an EXACT photocopy of a look from Lacoste FW 06/07?
