Project Runway Season 3

^ i often think about that too.

Keith wasn't bad last episode (im watchign it again now). He didnt wana dress up the dog and I dont blame him. It IS lame to dress up a dog. If minimalism is his design then be objective as a judge. That dog didnt need an outfit, thats for sure.... But he could have atleast made the collar... I thought that was lame.

^ I understand not wanting to dress up your dog, but it was the challenge. If you don't do the challenge then you suffer the consequences.

I bet in the real world designers often have to do things that they don't want to for the sake of the brand or company. Same thing happened last year when someone refused to use the barbie wig. Who was that?

Thats right! haha :) Keith should hardly be shocked that the judges would hold him accountable for intentionally not following the challenge.

It's here to be exact.

(I felt bad for not stopping myself but it's fun to know a bit early. I can't wait for wednesday/thursday (since i'm in asia!). Hope somebody upload the torrents early!!! LOL.

:ninja:

that is pretty lame.

I guess I can see why they would set that as a rule. But it's still pretty silly.

Bradley turns into a poet in the next episode (from Bavo's preview):

"I'm a fish out of water
I'm a squid without ocean
I'm an eagle with no sky..."

LOL.

Just read the spoiler and it's so lame.

But does anyone remember on the "Road to the Runway" show when Keith was at the audition and he only brought men's clothing and they were giving him crap and he had pictures from a line of clothing that he said he co-designed with his friend and they asked him why he didn't bring them and he said that he couldn't and they were giving him crap..And he was saying that he did make the clothes but he couldn't bring them?...sound familiar. Now i wonder if he really did co-design on that line.

I remember. It looks like from the get go Keith was not interested in following the rules.

he really shouldn't have brought his inflated ego with him. he could have been a great one. arrrrrrrrrrrrgh. bad keith.

yes, i agree. with him not really making an outfit for the dog, he got more time to work on the model's outfit. totally not fair. well, i can't wait to see the next episode! so much drama. i love it.

I'm shocked that I'm actually saying this but I will miss Keith if he leaves. The show will be less dramatic - and I love drama in my T.V. I mean what would have last season been without Andre and Santino - can you imagine 15 Chloe-like contestants - that would have been a snoozer. First it was Malan and now Keith might go - who will be left to entertein me!

He did dress up the dog, just not to the extent everyone else did. If i were the judge, I would have congratulated him for seeing that dog DIDNT need some wack outfit, and for dressing it up minimally.

Is this freaking show about design or challenges? Probably both. So they shouldn't let one get in the way of another.

I think the judges were right on calling him out. They want to see how good of a designer you are under various time constrains, regulations and preasures. The different challenges are meant to do just that...challenge the way they design and remove them from their comfort zone. It seems like a cop-out to me, to refuse to participate under the guise of artistic direction. I agree, that the footage would be interesting. Keith said he made 4 outfits for the dog and none of them worked, but the editing of the episode did not show that work. Rise to the challenge! Don't cop-out...just my opinion.

Well have to agree to disagree. I think it was good design to be minimalistic. Dog clothes are terrible. The challenge was ratarded IMO. Next theyll have to do everything in spandex.

^ it was a little bit lame, but so is making a dress out of stuff found in a grocery store, or flowers (from previous seasons)....this is television, and they make the challenges outrageous for a reason.

I agree that dog clothes are the most stupid thing ever. But that is what the judges wanted. Yeah the dog was artistic in itself but the challenge was to make an outfit for the dog to match with the models outfit. You can't just not do the challenge because you think it's stupid, that's just being arrogant.
Just do the challenge and do it better than everyone else instead.

Bradely seems like a total stoner. I like to think of him as a Jeff Spicoli (from Fast Times at Ridgemont High). Kind of funny, clueless, but cute and interesting.

i found this out on a yahoo preview of project runway it says:

"the designers prepare for a team challenge. Kayne, Robert, and Michael decide to go to the producers to report a rule violation"

well it seems like they were the ones that found out wat keith had(fashion magazines) and reported him, I would have done the same thing.
