I think having Audrey as an icon would be easier because a black dress is so basic that you can do a lot with it to modernize it but keep it simple.

I agree. To recreate an Audrey Hepburn look practically begs for a little black dress. In my mind, the two have always gone hand in hand. If she didn't do the black dress, I think the judges would have literally thrown tomatoes at her and screamed, "Duh!" If she had gone with pants, I could have seen her going with something Natalie Portman would wear today.

with every show i am more and more impressed with michael's designs. i wasn't really into his stuff in the first show, but he has grown to be my favorite! i def. think that some icons were easier to design for than others, but they all were pretty easy. i was extremely dissappointed in robert's creation. he had such a simple concept with jackie o, crisp and clean. it's sad he did so poorly.

Am I the only one rooting for Laura?
I LOVE HER OUTFIT she did last night, it wasn't impactful but lets face it, the designers who got Audrey H and Marilyn M. were going to have an advantage because they could do more with it.
Oh well, I now dislike Jeff alot and I'm glad Bradley is gone!

and yess the models need to be changed asap they should bring back only the best of season 1 and i have to say angelas dress was nice but lets face it it was the texture of the fabric that made it look good

i'd need both hands to squeeze that huge neck! anyway, i agree about ilovemodels on the fabric of angela's dress. it was what made it. if it was of a different fabric, that dress would not be as appealing.

I agree that AH is defintely the little black dress..............but I don't like the textures Angela used. And AGAIN with the damn rosettes. She didnt overkill it....but she makes everything so pouffy. Like the bottom of the dress, and then adding rosettes.

I hope she chokes on a rosette soon.

I think the designers this season are very skilled. We have never seen this many, pants, long sleves, shorts, jackets, details (Love it or leave it Angelas rosettes add detail). The other season have mostly been variations of dresses.

I feel like the rosettes are the only thing angela can make, and make well (though i think they're cheap looking and tacky). And since thats the case, she just makes them for everything and hopes they mask whatever the entire peice is lacking.

The only drama was the Jeff/Angela fight and Jeff isn't funny like Keith, just a bit of an a**.
