No. It's cause Laura is very wealthy, Vincent thinks she's a snob, she he's telling her to stick her Harry Winston jewels up her nose. I think it's from like up your nose with a rubber hose*, dear god, the sixties and seventies were unpleasant times.StyleSnob said:No vincent said it. And secretly....I dont get it? Is that a drug reference? Someone tell me. hahah.

Agreed.kochie332 said:that would be interesting. i wouldnt like it that way because the judges actually know what they are talking about and some viewers probably wouldnt

and I miss Bradley

I know they exist...I am one of them!
NOE said:Yea, Vincent's comments were insane. Why did he keep saying his creation turned him on? Freaky man.
mundodabolsa said:Allison got auf'ed because she made the model look fat. Right, because designs that enhance a person's existing natural curves are failures. The only option when flattering the female form is to make them look like a long, lean twig. Someone who is a little round (er) is absolutely not allowed to look it, ever.
I think that if her hair had been done down, or maybe even like how Allison does her own hair, it would look alot better and maybe more flattering. But now that I think about it maybe not. I think the bow was just another step down the ladder of her demise.NOE said:I'm mad. I bet if she hadn't put that bow hair-do on her model, it wouldn't have seemed as bad.

But regarding the intial comment, I think it's pretty odd to assume an African American man couldn't afford or wouldn't go to Parsons. The school, along with other art schools offer scholarships. Most people in general can't afford to go to parsons or come from a background that might discourage regardless of their skin color. A lot of poor people regardless of their race's expected socioeconomic backgrounds have gone on to great design schools and succesful careers (Alexander MCqueen's dad was a taxi driver, John Galliano's was an immigrant plumber). I'm not saying your point isn't valid, but it's just pointless and not very constructive in this thread.

. Other than Michael (and maybe Uli), I don't feel connected w/ any of the remaining contestants.
