Project Runway Season 3

i could care less about the drama, i like watching the show for the talent but if they start eliminating that, all the show left with is crappy wannabe drammatic designers and heidi klum. ......and vincent should have gone home instead of allison, i thought allison would have won.:(

sending allison home!!! i was seriously in shock, that was her first mess up.... they didnt even look at her pieces from the other challenges, they did with kayne. I am not a Vincent hater, he is like a guy i feel bad for, and he just gets really stressed... and it was just plain rude for laura to say anthing... these judges are pathetic.

I think Kayne (not just last episode) always runs a little to close to the tacky side for me.

ha, the best two quotes of last night's episode were heidi saying to vincent "there's a fine line between innovation and insanity" and vincent saying to laura "go shove some harry winstons up your nose"

OMG I cant beleive that Aliso got auf'd...seriously Im starting to hate PR because they just do anything for drama instead for what looks best on the runway...for ex. look at heidi bringing back the model swap thingy i was so glad michael didnt swapped models that way the viewers can see that PR is doing anything just to get the attention of everyone but in a dumb way...dammit im so mad but I have to say that Jeffrey is sooooo ignorant and basically it was him who started all the bad communication between everyone...o and btw im finding robert and kayne annoying with their boring/lazy voice they just always looking out for each other as if they a couple but you never know... they should realize this is a COMPETITION...I swear this season to me was as bad a Seasons 1,3,4, and 5 of ANTM

I beleive that the top three should be :

1. Uli
2. Michael
3. Laura

Allison does sound bitter and making it out that the producers were trying to get her by giving her bad models. Her model was not fat. Alexandra worked with Michael as well and he wasn't in the bottom...:innocent:

I am getting a bit weary of people saying they were suprised by Micheal, and they though he would be "ghetto" or "urban", just based on the way he looks. He is a superb designer, and his background doesn't come into it. Look at Alexander McQueen- he is from the East End, wears torn jeans all the time, yet still comes up with the most fanciful creations. :flower:

I wanted to add that some of the 20th century's early fashions originated with black men- zoot suits, for instance. The V&A did an exhibtion on Black fashion not too long ago.

Many a background is capable of great fashion. :)

In much of the black communtiy, men are expected to be very manly- i.e. not think of fashion- far to girlie.

How many young black men can afford Parsons (pretty much the door to American high fashion)? If they can, they probably will be sent off to the ivy leauge rather than a career as risky as fashion.

Race does not come into it. He just happens to be black, that is all. A quip in nature's radar, just like the fact he is ___ tall, and has size ___ feet.

For goodness sake, did anyone actually read what I had to say before jumping on me? All I have done is defend Michael, and described my own experience as an affluent black/mixed person (read- I am not rascist, unless I hate myself). jeez.

People are repeating what I already said to attack me. I  Micheal, and my whole point has been in anger towards people who pre-judge him.

Back to PR, please.

Yes, but his dress was amazing and he wasn't even in the top 3.
Would he have been had he had Nazari? Perhaps.
I truly believe she was larger. Both she and Tim discussed this as a problem in the workroom before she was eliminated so it wasn't sour grapes, it was what was real.
I liked the article...I think its refreshing to have someone really give us the inside track and not just "play nice".

That is exactly what my boyfriend was saying! He was doing Sudoku the whole show, but at the end when they did the preview for the next show, he said "It's their moms!"
Ok.......THAT makes more sense. I bet you're right.....I mean, I bet your boyfriend is right:lol:

After last night, I'd definitely question that statement.
Actually, it's kind of up in the air as to how much input the judges actually have in the decision making process. In the credits, it says something like 'judges take into consideration producer's opinions'.....something to that respect....

Obvioulsy, the producer's think Vincent is good TV and creates drama. HE doesn't create drama, THE PRODUCERS create drama by keeping him on!!!!! Honestly, unlike Santino from last season, who made some crappy stuff and was 'good tv', Vincent does NOT make me come back week after week to see what he does next. In fact, from reading this thread, it seems as though Vincent is turning people off from Project Runway, as opposed to bringing them back.....

Could the vincent spoiler be true, now that he has the fashion fairies on his side  The spoiler: (hightlight to read) gets to be in the top four?

Allison did not deserve to go, give vincent his auf so he can go away already. And the producers make it so obvious who is going to go home, they gave her the 'edit' tonight by introducing all her problems she was having.
