Project Runway Season 3

the design was acceptable, but if ANYONE wore that on the red carpet it would be automatically worst dress listed!! im not a fan of jeffery!

So agreed. At least he could've picked better fabric in my opinion.

No offense to all the Jeffrey fans there...

Michael's dress was eh... I was pretty nervous that he might get eliminated.

Yeah I doubt its really the olsen twins. any other predictions??

Wait but didn't Laura say stuff about the Olsen twins and designing for them in the preview for next week's episode?

I'm so confused.

And ugh, Uli's dress....I think she's adorable, I really like her but she doesn't seem to do anything special. Her dress looked like something Santino made for Nicky Hilton. I think I've seen that type of dress on a million different celebrities, nothing original or attractive about it. And the color was very dull. Plus I hate those ropey things....why the heck do designers put those god-awful ropey things on dresses?!

I know exactly what I mean!! I was watching the show thinking the same exact thing. I was like "I remember seeing this..."

I really don't like the ropes... it's just too strange and awkward for me personally to be wearing a dress with straps that resemble people's hair styles.

Yes! Thank you! I thought that dress was SO Santino, and I'm really surprised the judges didn't catch that. Plus, I'm confused that the judges were congratulating Uli for "toning it down" (i.e.-- not using a print) for a challenge about COUTURE-- when clothes are supposed to be over the top and insane! I think some whacky Uli prints would've been great this challenge!

Is it me or do all of Laura's dresses look exactly alike? They're beautiful but they're all the same!

I agree here as well. Empire waists, extremely low V-necks, slim silhouettes. And she mostly sticks to the same colour palette each week, too. Hmm..

They just never give it away that blatantly! I think Laura was making a comparison to who she was really designing for....sarcasm, maybe?? Who knows!!

I am truly disappointed in general at tonight's show. It seems most of the designers missed the mark.

When the challenge was introduced i assumed this was Laura's challenge and she would get her first victory but the dress she ended up making was so.... blah that for the first time her neatness could not save her.

I didn't think Vicent's was that bad but for being couture i think it was the one that needed to go.
Michael on the other hand... i could understand his frustration ( egg on your dress is not happy). But from the colour to the way it was constructed, i thought it was a miss.
I really wanted to see Kayne go, his dress was so miss america meets simulation haute couture. Oh well.
Uli.... i didn't love it but it was safe. And Jeff... yes he deserved to win, he took the chance and was successful.

I believe the top four will be the double winners Michael and Jeff, and Uli with Laura sneaking in. I think Kayne just needs to go. The only challenge he won was making a pageant dress... his specialty!

i love the plaid fabric jeffrey chose... it reminded me of vivienne westwood. like the judges said...i thought it was brilliant that he chose a bright yellow... very unexpected for him. there was some great details in the back of the dress.

i was very dissappointed with michael, but hopefully he will redeem himself.

What was Ms Malandrino wearing? Her own line? Ive seen that top somewhere but I cant put my finger on where.

She was incredibly well dressed.

Jeffrey's creation was way overrated, I mean come on, it looks like a Joke.....it's a mess, people. He won, only because all the other ones are boring and been-see-before already. He stood out because his was different, but execution-wise, its nothing special. something nobody will want to buy!

I feel like lately, there hasn't been much of a "OMG I love this dress!" and it's been such a drag to find a particular dress that you find that stands out from the crowd.

I can't believe Vincent outlasted Alison! WTF? Oh well, at least he's gone. And I may be the odd woman out, but I liked Kayne's dress, though Jeff's was my fave!

Don't worry, I loved Kayne's dress too!!

It was true that a lot was going on, but the overall concept was amazing! And it fit the model so well!

i loved catherine malandrino's vintage dior shades...

i like laura... but i think the clothes she designs are more like stuff she would want to wear.

I loved Uli's dress. Hated Jefferey's dress. They must have been ALL on something tonight cuz it's definitely not couture. Since when is loud punk plaid couture? Argh. And maybe they ARE desiging for the olsen twins next week. They said there's "two" of them! :D I'd design for them in a heartbeat:heart:

Riiight.... You and I have very very different takes on this.. His piece was very complicated and smart.. It was very cute and couturesque. He won, because it was attractive on the model, and therefore designed well...

ditto for what our group watching thought^_^
Very Vivienne Westwood and he whipped that out in 2 days?
Was very well constructed.
Good riddance to creepy Vinnie- wonder if getting auf'ed "got him off":p?
I loved when he flat-out didn't answer Heidi's question when she asked him what was hand-made on his dress and he started rambling about something else:blush: and when Catherine asked him what inspired him and he said he didn't know but he knew he loved it:huh: and then proceeded to try to win her over with cheap flattery.
Yuck.

Hey where is that webiste where you can auction for the clothes?

r episodes and figure out how I could have completely overlooked her.

Did you guys see the sign on one of the work tables in the back of one of the scenes? It said something like "caution: fleurchon making in progress", or something like that...

It was on Laura's table.
